Been a while since I've posted something on here, so have another SMPS competition mashup, this time of Sonic Heroes' Special Stage mixed into Sonic 3K's own Special Stage.

Another fun one to make, as always. This one actually gave me quite a lot of pain getting right; I had the middle done before the beginning, and then I couldn't get it to blend well, and had to redo bits and fit things in other places-- you get the idea.

Either way, it all came together in the end, and even though I didn't win the competition round I'm still proud of this one. :>

Anyway, I had an idea to make full arrangement of Disco Necropolis from Skeleton Boomerang by +TEK for halloween, but everytime I touched that one... I just couldn't do it. So, I just decided to experiment, as I always do, and make an cover in style of "Shadow of The Ninja" (lovely game and soundtrack, by the way). I really hope it sounds okay and that +TEK won't kill me for this arrangement.

Huge thanks for +TEK himself for providing me with a MIDI of Disco Necropolis.

Mostly inspired by Megaman X and Touhou's soundtracks, originally it was planned to be a more dance-y track to be easier for the Rhythm aspect of the game, but I changed my mind because a more rock-ish tone would fit the boss fight better.
