My 4th album 'Chop Suey' is an exploratory journey of my heritage and sound. The album art is a painting by my late Grandfather, Fred Eng. It paints a vibrant scene straight out of the heart of San Fransisco's China Town. My Grandfather passed when I was 4 years old and unfortunately, due to the pressure to assimilate, much of my Chinese heritage has vanished. Through art, music, and photography I have the opportunity to rekindle that connection and explore my generational roots. This album is a homage to my ancestors and a rekindling of their wisdom that is in my DNA.
