To round out our NZ Music Month Mix series, we're graced by one of the baddest women in NZ Music, Paige Julia.

Paige has been a staple of the scene for time, and recently has been on an absolute tear, touring all over the country, having just finished an album release tour for her highly acclaimed Morphling, and is about to get back on the road touring her brand new Dreams EP, coming out on Unchained Recordings.

Moving from strength to strength, we couldn't think of anyone better to close the series off. With half an hour of heavy dubstep, banging halftime and crisp jungle, this is a phenomenal mix from one of NZ's premier talents.

Paige Julia - Quasar EP (DDD105) 

Hailing from New Zealand, Paige Julia "makes music for people who stay up late" . Her constant rise over the last few years has been hard to ignore. Performing shows and festivals all across NZ, winning the New Zealand Music Award for best Electronic Producer (the same award DDD label heads TRUTH won back in 2017) and generally crushing soundsystems. 

She has made a name for herself with weird, wonky, junglistic, UK and west coast US inspired sounds, with a multitude of appearances including a recent outing on 1985 music. The Quasar EP is her first fully Dubstep-inspired release and exemplifies her trademark heavy bass wonkiness across a diverse selection of tracks.
