I've long wanted to expand my musical horizons outward, and getting the opportunity to write a soundtrack for a game was the perfect way to do that. This is the title theme for Gravity Storm: First Mission, an action platformer that lets you control and manipulate gravity. This game is directly inspired from the NES title Metal Storm, but draws influence from other acclaimed platformers of the era as well.

I wrote this song in a 7/4 time signature, and I felt that giving it a moody, atmospheric feel really captured the essence of the game's setting. The space station you must fight your way through is fraught with peril, and danger lurks around every corner. You must use all of your wits to survive...
