Bordello A Parigi is delighted to welcome back the triumvirate of Sergio Mesa (IAMNOTAROBOT), David Jornet (Strange2, AMPbEND) and vocalist Maia J. In 2020 the partnership, better known as Hypnotique, released the stunning 12” ‘La Pénombre’. Armed with four tracks of emotive synth-pop, the group returns with ‘Solitude’. Crisp beats and lovelorn lyrics characterise the title piece, a warbling melody weaving and winding its way through tear-streaked words. ‘Ce Monde’ takes a different direction. Keys are upbeat with just a touch of brooding while vocals are distant yet sensual. Maia J’s incredible vocal range comes to the fore on this record, nowhere more than in the deep and layered ‘Le Divan’. Drums scuttle and spike against flowing synthlines as lyrics smoulder with an inchoate intensity. The tone, and language, change for the finale. Arpeggiators rumble and the band shift to English for the elegance and energy of ‘Paralyzed’. Four beautifully crafted synth cuts from an incredibly talented trio.

A-Tweed es el apodo de Ant De Oto, dj y productor italiano afincado en Roma. Durante los últimos años, Ant ha desarrollado una estética musical única, por lo que es muy respetado. Combinando un número considerable de influencias estilísticas, su música es un verdadero viaje alrededor del mundo y, como él mismo lo describe: Acid Weird Slow Disco.

A-Tweed cuenta los lanzamientos entre varios sellos como Hard Fist, Playground, SABI y Electric Shapes.

Después de su remix para Andreas Rund [HEAR0050] y una pista junto a Fabio Me Llaman Soltero en nuestra compilación anual [HEAR0052], le damos una calurosa bienvenida a Ant a la casa.

HEAR0054 se titula Serena y tiene dos razones principales para serlo, además de ser una exhibición pura de la maestría del sonido de Ant, uno muy especial. En primer lugar, Serena es un tributo y un homenaje de Ant a su mujer. En segundo lugar, es el primer material lanzado por A-Tweed, especialmente imaginado y concebido como orientado a clubes para golpear las pistas de baile por todas partes. Bajos contendientes, influencias  EMB y Disco, el sonido propuesto por Ant es refrescante y oscuro, es una demostración adecuada de música de baile estimulante.

El lanzamiento incluye dos mezclas originales - Serena Wants To Swim With Sharks, Single Track Roads - y dos notables remixes de dos nombres muy estimados de la escena: el argentino Balam y el francés Cornelius Doctor.

Mexican artist and Roam alumni Rolvia returns with three psychedelic electronic original offerings backed by remixes from Justin Robertson and Zakmina to form the Megacorp EP.
Imagina combines tripped out vocals, live instruments, and synths in a hypnotic mid temp journey. Miss Datos carries the live electric feel into slightly dreamier euphoric territory. Vertices turns up the arps for a fun ride. Up first on the remixes is Justin Robertson who takes Imagina deeper accentuating the dark grooves from the original. Zakmina flips the script with an all out peak time rave version bringing it back to the 90s.
