Club Yeke returns with our 3rd offering on the label - and we’re back bigga and badda than ever with 4 track EP Full Circle - celebrating the crucial elements of Dancehall and Jungle in modern Soundsystem and riddim culture.
For this one we’ve teamed up with London based producer Kouslin - a long time Yeke favourite and friend, with a genuine love for all corners of club music and their origins, and two absolute powerhouse MC’s: Riko Dan and Warrior Queen, with a remix from Jungle supremo Tim Reaper.
Jungle is one of our first loves, so it made total sense to get Tim Reaper on remix duties, a part of the newer generation of Jungle heads keeping the genre fresh and exciting through his electric productions and DJ sets. His twist on Full Circle is a high speed, super fun, maximum energy rendition that we can’t wait to hear on a club soundsystem.

ANY BPM Vol. 1 is a various artists compilation curated by Bristol collective and label excess, with all proceeds to be donated in support of the Music Venue Trust's #saveourvenues campaign - a charity providing aid to the UK's most vulnerable live music venues. Over 15 tracks, the project showcases a diverse range of underground dance music, featuring artists both established and unsigned from Bristol and beyond. 

TROPHY rounds out the record, with the Leeds-based producer and TRAX HAVEN alumnus delivering possibly the switch-up of the year (just wait) on "We Got" - a swaggering halftime rhythm that shows off low-slung, punchy drums and a well-executed wobbling bassline.

Atlanta resident Nikki Nair invites you to join his new 4 track EP on Astrophonica - ‘Renormalization Support Group’. It’s a place where we can share our experiences via the help of Nikki’s special ‘not quite sure what you call it’ bass lead Electro Breakbeat programme.

Track one is ‘Plug’ - An uptempo low slung booty shaker which will have sound engineers scrambling at cables and faders trying to work out wtf is going on. We’ve all been there so let’s talk about it.

Track two is ‘Where Are U’ and encourages us to ask ourselves that question through the exploration of full speed Breakbeat Electro. If we know where we are, we can begin to look into where we are going. Probably the dance floor.

Track three is ‘it’s NP-Complicated’ which sets out an uncomplicated blend of bubbling bass and simple sympathetic drums, providing us with a network to feel more empowered
and to build a sense of community.

Track four is ‘Donut Time’ - Well done for finishing the course! You can congratulate your self with a donut full of squelchy acid jam, glazed with frosted pads and hi hat sprinkles.
