The illustrious Abu Ama lets loose on Accidental Meetings with a 9 track LP, manifesting his trademark distorted dubwise style, with traditional folk song throughout.

Following wzrdyAV's sublime 'Midnight Visions' we're so, so excited to welcome Abu to the label for AM002. An unbelievable artist and person, we're honoured to have him on AM.
Abu who lives in West Germany showcases his whole repertoire throughout the 9 tracks with a selection of new and old, past and present.

His field recordings are scattered over the album and his rumbling bass is ever present, traditional folk songs dip in and out of the album all brought together in Abu's signature dub-wise style.

A. Campbell Payne dives deeply into the crystalline chimes and resonant bells of FM synthesis for the six tracks of 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒔 + 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔. Swirling polyrhythms and ambiguous modal harmonies convey their feelings during a fitful period of recording during 2020-1. Payne says, “Living between two places[…], going through the motions of travel while not going anywhere new created a restless atmosphere for performing this music,” which is reflected by cyclic structures both within and between tracks.

In contrast to the sparkling timbres of 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒔 + 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔, subtle compositional instabilities imply an underlying unease. But as a complete suite, it is intended as “an aide in processing feelings of dread, anxiety, and hopelessness”, and Payne continues: “I encourage you to listen to this while on a hike or in other contemplative, open settings.”

Two years after the 𝐃𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐎𝐒 𝐋𝐏, Jonquera is back to Charlieu’s surrounding vales for his second album on 𝔹𝔸𝕄𝔹𝕆𝕆 𝕊ℍ𝕆𝕎𝕊. 

Through 𝐋𝐚 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐱 𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬, the French Musician delivers a loner-folk eclogue about the fantasized inner demons of a country dweller. Just like clay, audio recordings here are a malleable substance, slowly reworked over a year, following a sinuous production process where all mishaps are welcomed as breaches to step into. 
Far from the spaghetti western myth of the reckless bounty hunter, riding his faithful horse in the great outdoors to spill blood; this 14-track album is the grieving lament of a wistful cowboy, longing for a simple patch of peace where one’s free to cultivate the earth and noodle on the guitar.

Heldon’s cosmic space-rock, Badalamenti’s Twin-Peaksesque foggy jazz or Morricone’s glorious soundtracks, so many references to portray another fertile imprint by Jonquera, available from February 13, 2023 on a 12” vinyl. To get along with a limited-edition woven scarf.

Organizatsiya hail from Lyon, France. Leo and Zoe clearly have strong roots in folk and acoustic music. These ‘old worlds’ blend in surprisingly well with more contemporary digital, futuristic sounds. Soothing analog recordings meet hyperdigital compositions reminiscent of IDM creations and peppered with spoken words that dance around in unexpected ways.
Seductive, intelligent and deeply hypnotic, this esoteric material delivers a dreamlike experience.

Artist mostly known to specialists, HLM38 is back with another dub-not-dub signature style.

This time the French producer is dropping three original tracks plus three remixes by likeminded folks who all love to walk the downtempo avenue. What all tunes unite, is a classic floating dub-harmonic, in which the off-beats dance contagiously as tripped-up chords. He continued to refine his craft with an experimental approach to dub and industrial excursions, while constantly keeping the joy of the listener in mind.

For remix duties of his slow jamming sensations he asked French producers "UVB76", founders of the tape-only label "OKVLT", to translate “Hierophant” into a toting trip-hop meets industrial leaning tune. In contrast, Swedish producer "The Idealist" enlarged “Empty Quarter” with infectious claps as well as some sub-bass madness. The last one comes from Glasgow’s finest "Lo Kindre", who runs together with his buddy Mr TC the label Phase Group. He transmuted the gloomy stepper “Dammerung” into an adagio synth-treasure.

“Stranger Than Dub”, an Ep that bring six different atmospheres keeping the original dub flavour alive while synergizing the energy again with slow slamming industrial spheres. Journey music beyond the dancefloor, It's time for Babylon to think about his garden!
