Aiôn is a Hellenistic deity associated with time, ex. season, breath, sleep (dream) etc, even Deleuze describes Cinematic time as aiôn which stretches out to become an intangible past and future, or Chronos (Chr), the ever-present that expresses only the here and now. In Geology, aiôn uses for eternity time which could also refer to four aiôns that make up the earth’s history. Aiôn is defined in Astronomy as Trillion years. Thus, we could say hibernatemode is in aiôn where an entity breaks relation with outside.

Su Yu Hsin composes essay film through philosophical and scientific approach to overlap and juxtaposition image with events, ex. Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster in 2011. Australian scientists’ microscopic investigation of antarctic moss reveals atmospheric record of Earth in its layer of cells. She uses found footage, data and facts to visualize relational geographic analysis. Hibernatemode comprised of 2- channel video and six channel sound installation. She collaborates with Sound artist Aloïs Yang to constructed nature in exhibition space.

A series of bleak, blustery scenes make up Nazanin Noori’s Farce. Noori, who also works as a theater director, conjures glacial storms and buzzing subterranean server farms on this album; but such scenes were far from the artist’s guiding narrative as it was being produced. The two tracks, clocking in at 80 minutes total, were envisioned as an enraged argument (or a "modular heartbreak") unfolding between two groups of people about a pothole in the road, told from the perspective of the road, and then the pothole.

This surreal, mundane plot device is nowhere to be found on Farce in any concrete way. And this is intentional. Noori, inspired by Artaud's concept of the theatre of cruelty, wants listeners to develop their own sensorial world separate from the musician's. When not darkly ambient, the tracks are full of drama and whimsy, as if a spotlight is following a character along a wayward path, into the hands of fate. The emotional hooks in the sound include a sense of desperate desolation, optimistic reprieve, and of course, the sense that ritual repetition is both a curse and a blessing—but they resist obvious imagery. Exactly what kinds of characters or settings get hung on the album's scaffolding is up to the audience. Listening with a hi-fi sound-system is highly recommended.

Nazanin Noori is an Iranian artist living and working in Berlin, Germany. Her work includes theater and radio play direction, music, and text. She focuses on atmospheric narratives in sound, and works to overcome cultural reliance on sentiment by making dramatic adaptations of non-dramatic texts. She studied theater, film and media sciences at Goethe University in Frankfurt and worked at Deutsches Theater and Schauspiel Hannover. She currently selects Acid Folk for POMP, a sound scenario series on Retreat Radio, and is an artist-in-residence at the Young Academy of the Arts in Berlin.

"The sounds on Florian T M Zeisig's 'Coatcheck' are little like the experience of stereotypical clubbing. Likewise, these remixes are meant for the club of the future, or perhaps, the non-club of the present: a place emphasizing organic flows instead of machinic rhythms, a place of distanced, isolated collectivity at a time of transition to something different. Many of these remixes have resulted in entirely new compositions, more like collaborations than reinterpretations.

Joanna Pope—Berlin-based independent researcher, writer, composer, and producer—conjures a gorgeous pastoral composition based upon Zeisig’s filtered textures on “First Version.” Montreal-based Patrick Holland takes “Only Textures,” originally a swirling miasma, and sculpts it into dub burner perfection. Meanwhile, Exael’s breakbeat treatment of “Aspire,” reinserts the track into a more recognizable dance lineage. Forest Management, the moniker of Chicago-based John Daniel, strips out the low end of the cheekily titled “Ambient Middle Part” and hones in on its vacillating, verdant undergrowth.

In addition to the remixes, 3 bonus tracks from Florian T M Zeisig are included in this release. They were recorded during the same sessions as 'Coatcheck' but were not included on the LP due to time and space constraints."

"Like entering a palatial hall of mirrors, LXV’s A Screen Memory opens with a baroque, choral synthesis. There are seraphs atop gilded plinths, chandeliers overhead. You’re ushered through an ornate, jeweled backdoor, and outside, it’s a beautiful bright day. Down a mossy path the calm patter of rain begins. A brook gurgles. There are voices too, though indiscernible. You arrive at a well brimming with crystalline data. But then a fog descends from behind. And down you go.

The place you arrive in appears familiar, but something is off. Strange transmissions travel the air. Anomalies all around. Paradox reigns. Notions such as backwards and forwards lose meaning as do sender and receiver. The landscape is littered with softwares, broken bells. Looking up, there, some things in the shrouded distance: sonic objects, unidentified, glowing, you squint to get a good look, but before you can comprehend, the brain change concludes, and your paranoia turns to coursing pleasure.
