Press release:  NYC based producer / platinum mix engineer Brian Cid has been enjoying the best year of his surging production career. A diverse range of DJs that includes Hot Since 82, Jeremy Olander, Steve Lawler and Danny Teneglia have all declared their love for Brian's work. With his unique fusion of sultry beats, rich textures and uniquely tailored drum work, all rolled up in a vintage analog sheen, it's no wonder that such an impressive list of talent has been championing Brian's work. His recent double A-side release on Guy J's Lost & Found Records has been a production highlight and he closes 2014 with what is perhaps the most anticipated release of his career. Brian's debut EP for microCastle is entitled 'Jukebox' and it comes with three brand new original productions alongside remixes from King Unique and Tom Middleton.

With a debut solo EP on Proton Music in the shape of December 2016's "Pronoia", Matter took another step up the ladder to the upper echelons of the underground dance scene. With subsequent remixes from Mononoid and Lanvary on the label, Particles now turns to Australia and the UK to continue the ride.

Rich Curtis is an artist with an enviable reputation within the underground dance fraternity. An esteemed club promoter, responsible for bring the likes of Hernan Cattaneo and Anthony Pappa to his Queensland home, Curtis' own appearances behind the decks have showcased a gift for crafting sets that keep dancefloors packed across his home country, South America and beyond. A producer of repute, Curtis has found his music allied to a plethora of high-calibre imprints. As such, Flow Vinyl Tulipa and Sudbeat have all played a part in the Australian's career development with the latter accounting for 2012's "Open Other End" EP and "The Ghost Writer" on 2014's "Sudbeats 2" compilation for the Cattaneo owned label. A regular on Proton Music with work that includes 2013's "Safety Thirst" EP and a 2016 remix of GMJ and Matter's "Atoms", Rich Curtis now follows up a quartet of remixes for Particles with a fifth.

Taking the essence of Matter's melodic themes, Curtis now extends their reach with a raft of additional production material in an interpretation of "Pronoia" that bristles with dynamic house groove and rippling arpeggio. Reaching their zenith in the third movement, a departure from Matter's original motifs sees a joyous house remix that is highly original and innovative.

Production pair, Andy MacDougall and Hilton Caswell, are artists with an impressive reputation to their names through their Trilucid pseudonym. Residents at Ministry of Sound's "Gallery" in London, provides a headline grabbing achievement that has seen the duo perform with a multitude of DJ superstars. With equally impressive production credentials, Caswell joined MacDougal's solo Trilucid project in 2013 and the duo have not looked back since. A portfolio that is thus the envy of any modern artist, the Trilucid name can be found on such leading imprints as Perfecto Black, Anjunabeats and Markus Schulz's Coldharbour Recordings. Supported by global icons that include Gareth Emery, Armin Van Buuren and Matt Darey, Trilucid continue to gain admirers with each subsequent release. 

Making their Particles debut, the Trilucid remix is centred around a stunning bass groove that takes its lead from Matter's original and turns it into a dancefloor destroyer. As the shimmering pads from the original filter into aural range in a stripped back breakdown, the combination of bouncing bass line and immaculate house rhythm, combine in the third movement with delightful riff accompaniment, to create a work of genuine skill and technique.

With superlative new remixes from Rich Curtis and Trilucid, Matter continues to enlighten through "Pronoia".

Celebrating 200 releases, Colorize is delighted to present Colorscapes Volume One.

The first in an annual series of exciting compilations, this is a landmark release for the label who recruits leading artists Matt Fax and Dezza for two thrilling mixes that feature 35 exclusive tracks showcasing the most exciting acts in Progressive, Deep and Melodic House.

On Colorscapes Volume One, Matt Fax and Dezza bring together established Colorize names like PRAANA, Andre Sobota, Anden, Sound Quelle, Boxer, Hexlogic and Milkwish with exciting label newcomers like Pete K, Murtagh, Rylan Taggart, farfetch'd, Andromedha and Tripswitch. Matt Fax brings two electrifying remixes to the compilation with 2005 techno sensation 'Rej' by German act Âme and British DJ/Producer D.O.D.'s 2018 house hit 'Glow' getting reworked in remarkable fashion. The mixes build and swell organically with both DJs flexing their talents effortlessly, creating two exhilarating mixes that will take you on a voyage into the deep and progressive.

With Matt Fax and Dezza reaching new heights as artists and becoming concrete names in the world of Progressive House, this compilation comes at an exciting time for Colorize. Since his first release on the label in 2013, Matt Fax has seen immense growth as a producer through releasing impressive, genre-expanding singles and his debut artist album Contrast in 2017, and as a DJ having played a run of shows from Europe to Asia in 2019 as well as the Progressive Stage at Electronic Family in the Netherlands. Canadian DJ/Producer Dezza has also had a whirlwind of a year, releasing his debut artist album Cosmos, a tour of Australia, ASOT900 and then playing at the Budlight Dreams festival in Toronto in June. The two artists also headlined a sold-out show at London's Oval Space in July for the first Colorize event.

Colorscapes Volume One will be supported by a launch party at London's renowned venue Egg on the 22nd of September which will see Matt Fax and Dezza headline with support from Amy Wiles, Boxer, Sound Quelle and Steve Brian pres. Cabriolet Paris. An official label event will also be held in October during Amsterdam Dance Event, followed by a North American co-headline tour from Matt Fax and Dezza that will feature other prominent Colorize artists.

Murtagh brings his debut release to Colorize with fantastic single 'Rush / Leaving'. 

The Irish producer made his first appearance on Colorize in Dezza's mix for the 'Colorscapes' compilation, taking the Canadian's ambient track 'Apollo' and cranking it to 10 with a fierce Progressive House remix. 

Now he brings his first solo release to Colorize. 'Rush' is dynamic and energetic with its arpeggiated synths building unstoppable momentum while ambient track 'Leaving' acts as the perfect foil to the opener's intensity, drifting in and out of focus, precariously avoiding an explosion into life. 

'Rush / Leaving' is the outstanding debut Colorize release from Murtagh.

Canadian producer Return of the Jaded makes an outstanding debut on Purified Records with his two-track ‘Soma’ EP. The title production is a slow-burning creation, which radiates a brooding energy with an alluring female vocal piece and delectably dark bassline. Covering The Smashing Pumpkins ‘Soma’, this rendition features deep guitar licks and psychedelic synths and commands attention with its enticing aura. Providing an instrumental counterpart to the title track, ‘Taiga’ builds gradually across its duration and transforms into an out-of-this-world electronic masterpiece. Blending a raw and reverberating bassline with striking space-like synths, this seven-minute creation sweeps the listener off their feet on a truly otherworldly journey.

Undefined (MT) come through with the last Colorize release of the year - this is their stellar five-track EP 'Holma'!

Wrapping up an exciting 2019 for Colorize and for themselves, Maltese producer duo Undefined (MT) unveil five tracks that together form a cohesive, engaging project, demonstrating their tight production skill and ability to craft dynamic House music.

Opening track 'Holma' features glistening synth arps and puts their polished approach on fine display, while second track 'Kappar' features a slick transition into darker, more nebulous territory. 'Sqaaq' and 'Layl' follow, already previously released as a standalone project, and 'Paachi' closes the EP, on which the duo explore elements of Electronica, forgoing percussion for a synth-laden, airy track that will take you on a sonic journey.
