DUALITY: An album in two parts.

Since day one, I have always struggled with how to present myself. Am I a dance music producer who does downtempo / experimental albums? Or is it the other way around? My first album had a bit of both, which is why I have referred to ‘Duality’ as the true followup to ‘It’s Artificial’. Part One focuses on the downtempo side of things with hints of indie-pop, while Part Two explores my progressive and trance roots. This is by far my most raw and honest work. On June 1, we released two songs from each part: “Equal” with Asbjørn (Official), and “Midnight” with Alison May.

I did not do this album alone. These are more than just “features,” these are collaborations. Together, we have woven a massive journey that is deeply personal, and showcases our most vulnerable selves. Many of these fabulous collaborators are also LGBT+, and I am so proud to be a part of this wonderful musical family.

Maor Levi, one of Anjunabeats' most beloved talents, collaborates with Brandon Vendetta and Ash Nova on 'Alone', out now.

Maor has been a semi-regular contributor to Anjunabeats since 2006, and in that time he has helped to define the modern sound of the label. Maor first signed to Anjunadeep at the age of 15 with 'Lital', before jumping across to Anjunabeats. He's since produced a continuous stream of club hits for the label including classics like ‘Reflect’, ‘Shapes’ and ‘Won’t Say No’.

In 2022, he dropped two remixes of Above & Beyond, taking on 'With Your Hope' and 'Chains' respectively. He also thrilled crowds at A&B's Group Therapy Weekender London festival last autumn.

'Alone' is Maor's first original material on Anjunabeats since the 'Am I Dreaming?' EP in October 2021. Joining him on 'Alone' are Brandon Vendetta, who's previously remixed Maor's side-project Elysian, and production/vocalist duo Ash Nova.

Maor Levi & Brandon Vendetta feat. Ash Nova - Alone

The trojan horse became synonyme for cowardly placing an item within the enemies territory and act from within the wrongly believed comfort zone of the opponent. In the modern world trojans are mainly spyware that is secretly installed on a digital computer system or any other electronic devices. Even a disguised person acting to be part of a group to spy on certain members of that group is considered a trojan.
PASSENGER 10 takes on this myth and takes us back into the times of the ancient greeks, where an alleged gift was placed in the middle of a village just to cowardly get an advantage over the enemy by surprisingly attacking them in the middle of the night.
Our virtual globetrotter Passenger 10 aka Christian Beat Hirt is a fan of history and loves to dive into the ancient stories and fantastic myths and legends.
We are sure you can hear this in his latest progressive house banger: A mixture of clubby beats and perfectly composed orchestral parts.
For all the fans and supporters of Passenger 10 it comes as no surprise that the artist is able to combine the two very different musical worlds and make them sound as one big adventurous listening and dancing experience.

West Coast tech house institution Desert Hearts is gearing up for the launch of their new subsidiary imprint Desert Hearts Black. Headed up by Desert Hearts founder Marbs and fellow sonic explorer Evan Casey, the label aims to venture "into the deeper and darker avenues of electronic music."

For the label's debut release, Marbs and Evan Casey link up with Rinzen for a three-track EP titled 'Torus'. Ahead of its release on August 9, this trio of splendid artists has handed over the cut 'Helix' - a mischevious, seven-minute techno excursion packed with chimeric synth arrangements and exceptional soundscapes.
