Hey everyone!

I feel super lucky to have grown up during what I see as the golden age of EDM, and This Is Forever is one of those tracks that’s always stuck with me. It’s brought me so much joy and nostalgia over the years—there’s just something timeless about it (or maybe something that lasts forever 😉).

This happy hardcore flip is my way of sharing that feeling with all of you. I wanted to create something I could play out in my sets to capture that same energy and emotion—and to shine a light on a track that not many people in our scene have had the chance to experience.

This Is Forever [dv5k Flip]

This song was born out of a lucid dream — a quiet night where reality blurred with imagination, and the boundaries between what’s real and what’s felt simply dissolved. The idea came like a whisper between sleep and waking, as if the universe itself handed over a melody wrapped in meaning. It was the feeling of drifting in a space with no rules, no judgment — just freedom and pure connection.

The line “Do you ever wonder what it’s like?” was the first to appear, echoing in the dream like a question from the soul. Every word that followed felt like a falling star, guided by a deep longing to protect, to love unconditionally, to give oneself fully to someone else.

The chorus was written at dawn, with eyes still heavy from dream-images — the vision of someone walking alone, exhausted, and a quiet vow to never let them fall. The line “I can be your nightmare, your daydream too” speaks to embracing someone completely, even the parts they’re afraid to show.

More than just a song, it’s an emotional journey — an invitation to close your eyes and let go, to surrender to the experience of being truly seen and loved. It’s a letter from the subconscious, from a place where anything is possible, and love doesn’t ask for permission to be real.
