Berlin, Undisclosed Time Zone - On the 42nd failed attempt to distill pure energy from a glacier using modular synths, KALTSTROM was born-not written, not produced, but extracted. Legend has it Pan-Pot descended into the frozen core of an abandoned nuclear rave reactor buried beneath the Alps, guided only by a malfunctioning subwoofer and a sentient penguin named Klaus. There, under strobes made of lightning and ice, they unearthed a frequency so cold it reversed global warming in a 3-meter radius.

KALTSTROM is not a track-it's a controlled detonation of pressure, pulse, and polar chaos. The kick is rumored to have stopped a clock. The drop? Detected by satellites as a minor seismic event over Central Europe. Every note was captured using cryogenic microphones and adrenaline-fed machines programmed to forget what warmth ever felt like.

Set for release across all known (and a few unknown) platforms, KALTSTROM will arrive like a glacier in freefall-slow, beautiful, and absolutely devastating.

WARNING: Do not listen in flip-flops. Wear gloves. And tell your reality: things are about to get kalt.

Charlotte de Witte showcases her revered deep techno sound on her long-awaited, self-titled debut album. In this exclusive commentary, the Belgian DJ/producer discusses tracks from the album. The track “Domine” takes listeners on “a very personal journey, built on hypnotic layers and ancient sound,” she says. Featuring vocals from Lisa Gerrard of Dead Can Dance on the track“After the Fall,” Charlotte notes how Lisa’s “voice doesn’t just fill space, it opens it.” Another standout, “No Division,” featuring XSALT, is about “erasing the invisible lines that separate us, whether cultural, personal, or emotional,” while “The Realm” is the track that inspired the whole project’s energy and philosophy. As Charlotte puts it: “Enter the realm of the unknown.” Listen now.

Enrico Sangiuliano is a name you will have no doubt noted if you’ve dipped your toe in Techno waters. Standing as one of contemporary dance music’s most influential talents, the Emilia native’s impeccable back catalogue represents nothing but timeless No.1 records, and now only grows to hold more future classics. Aside from his chart-topping studio endeavours, the melodic pioneer’s lengthy resume of iconic performances have thrilled and inspired in equal measure, making him one of the most discernibly authentic and balanced artists on the circuit. 

Embarking on his newest exploration in the world of sound design, the production maestro recently announced the launch of his 10-chapter, transient record label NINETOZERO, along with its correlative SOLO all-night-long event series. A sonic storyteller with deep and meaningful narratives at the core of his many opuses, Enrico’s time-limited imprint serves as an intervention to the notion of perpetual music, opting for an ephemeral concept that challenges audiences to redefine their listening habits. His corresponding SOLO series gives new perspective and insight into his sound palette as a DJ, as he extends the NINETOZERO ethos into an immersive live experience that highlights the evanescent beauty of contemporary club culture.
