Wordclock presents us his 4th album on Cryo Chamber

Religious visions and apparitions form some of the most universal and striking stories and myths. The desire for breakthrough and grasp of bliss through direct experiences has given way to incredibly imaginative visual and intelectual descriptions of sights of gods in both blissful and hellish states . A Greater Bliss draws upon these stories and writings to create a world of sounds that seeks to mimic the various facets of these myths, from the heaviest and most desperate to the blissful and dreamlike.

The album brought together an international collaboration of musicians during its development time. Portuguese composer and project lead Pedro Pimentel on electronics, synths and various traditional instruments of European and Middle Eastern origin, American saxophonist Travis Laplante, Norwegian cellist Amund Ulvestad also on voice, Portuguese percussionist Luis Neto and Georgian trumpeter George Shamanauri (Phonotek).

The resulting album breaks apart and merges together a diverse amount of genres and musical backgrounds in wide swelling motions and dreamlike musical fragments in both free form and mantra like compositions, crashing acoustic instrumentation with tape fragments and digital spectral synthesis. From contemporary and dark jazz to traditional music, neoclassical, ambient, ritual religious music and electronic experimental. Spiritual and Touching.

Fire Walk With Me V4 In Heaven

No Landscape Survives experiences & wanderings lie within those ten pieces, each focusing on a splinter, a shatter of the whole. Manufactured, they hold a tribute to the handmade work: layers of synths, syncopated rhythms, electronic seams trying to pour light & shadow by turns, on the fabric of that musical piece of clothing. Monochrome rather than shimmering, made for the inside rather than the outside, it is likely that this set won’t suit any being. But for those who carry their defeats like others carry victories, it shall nonetheless be a conveying call.

The Memory of Rain on an April Afternoon

ll tracks on this album were created using analogue media, tape loops, and non-musical noises. Tape and vinyl defects become elements of the composition here. In the modern digital era, people are losing touch with tangible reality and living nature, plunging into an artificial, synthetic, and virtual environment. The naturalness and uniqueness of simple things are becoming rarities.

This album was first released on Élan Vital Recordings on September 1, 2021, then was re-released on Rhymes Music in 2022, and now, slightly reworked (brought to perfection), is finally coming out on Chitra Records.

I AM WHO I AM is about me finding myself and growing spiritually. I found real love and a special connection, and even though I had to go through a tough time of separation, it helped me get back to my true self. This album is full of new hopes, good vibes, and the feeling of a fresh start. It also shows how I've gotten closer to God, giving thanks for everything that is peaceful and lasting.

The core inspiration for this album struck in a single evening back in 2023. After a year and a half of dedicated work, it's finally ready for release. The path has been challenging, but the culmination of this journey fills me with immense pride.

Beyond its innovative sound design, I AM WHO I AM represents a powerful letting go of the past. It stands as my declaration as an artist who has truly reclaimed her self-identity.

Written, performed, and produced by Nadja Sky in Tbilisi, Kaş, and Sarajevo.
Recorded between December 2023 and May 2025. Released June 18, 2025.
