"On Agape, pioneers of slow-evolving minimal drone, zakè (a.k.a. Zach Frizzel) and City of Dawn (a.k.a. Damien Duque) transform unadorned inputs into beautiful complexity. The drone duo, based in Texas and Indiana respectively, is known for their carefully crafted textures, avoiding sudden shifts or abrasive sororities. Their focus offer up the steady ebb and flow of sound, cultivating a profound sense of meditative stasis and explorations of high-fidelity sound. 

These six extended pieces are organic and minimalist in nature, but has an ethereal, mirage-like quality to them. Somber, yet incredibly uplifting. Agape is the kind of ambient record that refuses to be reduced to mere background music – the harmonic foundation and the details of the soundscapes are too compelling for that. Frizzell and Duque manage to expand rather simple sonic ingredients into weightless ambient perfection."

Magdalene Flowers is a project of Alex Bober - a sound artist, photographer and graphic designer. 
For Alex main sources of inspiration are nostalgia, childhood memories, escapism and power of imagination. His music is a way of expressing indescribable feelings and emotions which are half-subconscious and almost vivid in their intimacy. His music tells a story of self-hatred, slowly and pleasurably destroying an individual from the inside, childhood memories projected on everyday existence and drowning sorrow in contemplation of the simple and beautiful.

“Boke” is the Japanese word for saying blur and mental confusion.
In 2013 a person very close to me was diagnosed with what I call the memory disease.
Unfortunately in these long and struggling years I could see every step of this disorder.
So, I decided to record this album to find a sort of relief in my soul and to make people aware about this painful disease.
Each track is a degenerative phase of this malady that in 2020 has no cure and is becoming every day more widespread. 
Our mind is a recorder that makes us react to the impulses of life. We are the sum of our days spent and without memories we go back to being a blank page.
Interruption of memory is a collision between our dreams and what we are….
