Diasiva provide us with #007 in our podcast series, an all Diasiva playlist that includes tracks spanning their 7 year discography + a collection of unreleased material.

Produced in a symbiosis of perfectly unaligned and uncalibrated modular synthesis, “Thirst” is Diasiva pushing current DSP technology to its edges, their sound is informed by a weekly meeting of sonic experimentation and exploration in their Neukölln studio, drawing inspiration from the detritus of West Berlin. “Thirst” represents the ongoing evolution of Diasiva from sledge-hammer logic into expression in motion, welding IDM & deconstructed breaks to pure sonic abstraction, embracing visions of a brighter future yet leading curious eyes toward the ever present darkness, holding the hand of the likeminded, marching together toward the abyss.

Diasiva are Monolog and Swarm Intelligence, formed in 2011 for the first edition of Burn The Machine Festival in Subland, Berlin, playing numerous live sets around Berlin after this, including the following Burn the Machine. In 2016, they released their debut LP “Doublefade” on the seminal Ohm Resistance label, later that year, they released “Sabo” on Monolog & Subtrakt imprint, 2017 saw their Station 1805 EP released on Acroplane. The duo now returns for their debut EP on Instruments of Discipline.

You can find it in everything that exists and you can also find it in nothing.
Fundamental order of all the things, such as matter. A particle —-
essentially everything that existed, exists and will exist. Also the void, home of nothing.

Because to be, to evolve or to exist in unpolluted way; equipped with a DNA-narrative, from a pre-mutated space dust particle, the seed of all existence, the mega-source —- The Universe. Form and matter architect, total collector of energies, the reason for life and decay.

'Harmony in Chaos' in infinitum and always in tandem. The two mega-forces working on par. Without any hate but not in love. Their parasitic symbiosis is neither an ebb nor a flow. The existence of dust particles in space and time —- mutating, evolving.

It is of an utter importance to once again tune in and observe the nature which radiates from within us. From the very fabric of our close surroundings, and from afar, far beyond the abyss ~

Infected by the late 90s Schranz wave Eve cannot deny her Frankfurt roots and the affection for dirty warehouse bangers. Her ongoing search for raw, edgy tunes reflecting the typical intensity of her mixes however have taken her across various European scenes and genres. Industrial noise, combined with straight techno elements and distorted breaks might define her signature sound. Although a good dose of unpredictability and experimental challenge underline her diverse artistic appearance. After residencies in her home city Frankfurt and hosting several events at the side of Anthony Rother Eve settled over to Berlin with the focus on growing behind the scenes and developing her own musical output. Venues such as Arena Club, About Blank or Tresor already offered her a platform.

Broken Machinery EP27

Torn Relics return for their monthly residency at Threads. The experimental, London based duo comprises of Romek Boyer (AKA Rommek) & Aimée Mullen.

The radio show explores the variety of influences that make up the foundations of the music they produce. Expect to hear a fusion of Industrial / Post-Punk / Ambient / Folk / Experimental. The body of their work is a mixture of cyber-punk electronics with tribalistic violin, rhythms and tones. Together, they utilise a range of classical and electronic instruments to create a rich and dynamic sound pallet.

Their debut EP, The Poisoned Chalice, was released on Sacred Court in 2019 and included a remix from SNTS. Abolish The Dogma, the duos debut 8-track album was released in 2020 on Leyla records, which showcases the diversity of their production styles.
