"The Ensemble was founded in January 2012, within the framework of “ResonArs” Academy, in the city of Assisi. It is composed by seven young elements, prepared by internationally renowned musicians and musicologists, specialised in Medieval and Renaissance music.

The aim of the group is to study thoroughly musical sources of the medieval period, in order to perform and spread this kind of music. Atthe moment, the Ensemble is working especially on Italian music of the 14th Century and Spanish paraliturgical music from the 13th to the 14th Century.
All the musical intruments used by the musicians are reproductions, made by Umbrian luthiers, of original instruments, represented in some Medieval paintings, miniatures and statues."

L’Ensemble si compone di sette elementi, tutti giovanissimi, tra i quali studenti di conservatorio e allievi di maestri appartenenti ad alcuni dei più noti gruppi di musica antica europei; gli strumenti utilizzati sono riproduzioni, eseguite da liutai umbri, desunte da fonti iconografiche medievali."
