The Pop-Classic Ensemble Silverflutes (Silberflöten) were founded in 1985 and then consequently developed into a professional orchestra. Their repertoire consists exclusively of works from the pen of its founder Jan Hrábek (1945–2003) and the current conductor Alexius Tschallener in the pop-classical style full of very listenable melodies, touched with contemporary sounds and feelings. Their concerts include impressive video-and light-effects to create an atmosphere of pure emotion. 
Also, the symbiosis of the classical voice of the flutes together with the oboe, solo piano and strings, subtly complemented with modern rhythm and contemporary sound elements, give rise to an original and unique sound experience. According to the occasion and the venue, the size of the ensemble can be varied from a quintet up to a full orchestra. The young, attractive soloists also excel with their expert virtuosity, their expressive interpretations and not least, their positive radiance.

Das Pop-Classic Ensemble Silberflöten wurde von im Jahre 1985 gegründet und konsequent zu einem professionellen Orchester weiterentwickelt. Das Repertoire besteht ausschliesslich aus Kompositionen aus der Feder des Gründers Jan Hrábek (1945–2003) und des heutigen musikalischen Leiters Alexius Tschallener im pop-klassischen Stil. Es handelt sich dabei um sehr eingängige Melodien, geprägt von zeitgenössischen Klängen und Gefühlen. Mit ihren Konzerten setzen die Silberflöten mit ihrer Musik auf Emotionen pur. Durch die einmalige Symbiose der führenden drei Flötistinnen, mit Oboe, Solo-Piano und Streichtrio einerseits und kontemporären Klangelementen andererseits, entsteht das einzigartige, für die Silberflöten so bezeichnende Klangbild. Je nach Konzertform variiert die Ensemblegrösse vom Quartett bis zur vollen Orchesterformation, in welcher auch eindrucksvolle Video- und Lichteffekte Bestandteil sind. Die professionell ausgebildeten und äusserst talentierten und attraktiven Solistinnen brillieren in ihren romantischen Kostümen mit gefühlvollen Interpretationen und nicht zuletzt durch ihre positive Ausstrahlung.
