This year at Burning Man, once again, I was reminded of how powerful human connection is. We go for so many reasons: to celebrate, to explore, to let go, to find, to escape, to rage, to build, or to witness some of the most mind-bending art in the most surreal place. But what really lasts for me is the bond with the people you come across, the people you experience and share it all with. The memory of what you saw is so powerful, but somehow despite the marvelousness of the sights, who you saw it with shines even brighter. The depth of these connections is incredible. Every year I come back with a bigger family. Every year I come back realizing how much more love and emotion we are all capable off. And however rocky the return to your standard schedule is, you still have that unshakeable bond. This mix and the words in the intro are a small exhale of this in the best way I know how to breathe. I hope it gives you something too.
