As I biked into deep playa looking for the majestic glowing Maxa deer on Friday night, I kept thinking about how I found out that the reason the deer art car is a deer, is because the legend of how the Mexican tribes found peyote goes that a blue glowing deer appeared and showed them the way to the plant. 

This, of course, as it was told to me when I paid a visit to the Maxa camp a year before the 2024 Burn, after biblical rains paralyzed Black Rock City and decimated my dreams of playing on the Maxa deer… at Sunrise. 

Good things are worth the wait and as I took control of the glowing myth and spirit of the magical deer, I was surrounded by the most amazing crowd in the front, around and behind me. 

This is the musical story of that night, my last and highly proud set of Burning Man 2024. Enjoy!

Enssembl, real name Alexandre, is a DJ from the countryside of France now living in New York City. He is passionate about music in all its forms, has a strong appetite for performance and always delivers with fervor.
Starting his musical journey at a young age, learning music theory and the practice of piano and guitar, he later discovered the electronic music scene, and it's in 2019, after living in New York for a few years, that he started DJing and got passionate about it, putting his musical knowledge at the service of his mixing.
He started organizing his own dance parties around NYC, called Metronomic, before founding the label of the same name. He is playing in various clubs in New York, and always tries to connect with his audience and take them on a journey by creating stories through unique sounds and rhythms.
