I writ Troubled Waters in 2021 over a loop of the guitar from the beginning of the song. 
It turned out to be quite a special song to me as i adventured through an honest conversation with myself about growth. 
Sometimes we find ourselves questioning purpose and get lost in our minds, weighed down by what once was and what is to be. So this song is more like a letter to myself and anyone else out there feeling similarly, to remember what it feels like - but allow yourself to be free. 
We brought the song back to life in 2023 with my brother Shizz Mcnaughty + some really good mates (and extraordinarily talented) Luke Pinnell on the Bass Guitar & Joe Thwaites on the Saxophone. 


I filmed the video on a Canon 514xl Super 8 in the summer of 2022 over the course of a weekend, where we followed our friend Dirty Dike for a headline performance at a festival in Cambridge, bumped into our mate P-rallel Theory, had a studio session with the amazing Good Health Good Wealth & got to see Leon Bridges at Hammersmith Apollo.

Just wanted to show you life through my eyes to be honest.
