This song is about when I've looked for romance, but it never seemed to find me. I'd blame it on excuses and find reasons for why this would be. When I decide to focus on myself and wait for the right one, someone always seems to come along when I don't expect it. It's also about the worries or things we might think will happen if we become romantically involved. Just go for it and don't let excuses define you.
