I had just returned from a two-week trip back home to Canada for the first time in two years, so on my return back to Portland I was ready to make some music. And to be surrounded by so many amazing musicians who I admire and respect was a dream come true. 

Inspiration was in the air.
 
We started with the late Josiah Akoya's elven flute magic (Rest in Peace brother.). After that magic was recorded, the bass and synth lines came very naturally. One by one, the 3 female vocalists entered the booth, each performing 3 unique, and completely improvised vocal tracks. It ended up that three women sang vocals and three men played the instrumental parts, reflecting the two triangles in the sky, in harmony and balance.

It was a unique moment where I could see and feel that the harmony of the spheres was mirroring the musical alignment in the studio. 

And boom.

Emanation was born. 

The name of this track speaks to the source of all matter and life that endlessly streams music, truth, beauty and wisdom from the center of every particle in the Universe, all the time.

An album 10 years in the making, with a style emerging out of the pressure cooker of Entheo's psycho-spiritual journey through the existential merging of the leading edges of both modern music and transformational culture. Music has an incredible power to raise our vibration.

Music can be a healthy escape from the grinding, painful realities we experience and just lift us up. It can interrupt our mental looping in traumatic memories and distract us into a more positive place. And it can also help to heal those same memories when used with dance, intention and conscious intentional feeling of those places.

This song was a vehicle for Entheo to break out of his own self-limiting creative boxes that say what is allowed or not in music and creativity.

Following up Entheo's last single, Sail Away, I Believe in Love continues along the same integrative path, blending pop, electronic and acoustic styles, rich with layered, pitched vocals and punchy beats. It is a joyful affirmation of freedom and love. A playful divergence from the structure and style that you might hear in modern pop, electronic or dance.
