This is a poem written by my father, Michael C. Slakey, that I put to music in his memory... He was a great father, brilliant with words, and gave me the love for art and music from a very early age. He passed away in 2005 from a cancer, which was a huge spiritual process for him and he died at peace. I know that he transcended, and I dedicate this to him, in gratitude.
