Imagine an inch-high hourglass as thick as a thumb, with a very narrow neck, that “empties” in, say, quarter hour. Now that you are done imagining these two, try to use this example to visualize the relativity of time, the boundaries of the present, past and future, and maybe only then time will stop being a unit of measurement for you, with all the delicious food, music that gives you the chills and all your unspoken thoughts becoming units that measure your life, units that are always there, by the way, but we choose to not see them a lot of the time. One of our friends, for example, had been waiting for @mira_kater’s set so desperately that their life is forever split between before and after today.
