The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Selective Response. The Southern California-based artist has nearly a decade in the industry, working in various outlets but 2018 saw the formation of Selective Response - a project focused squarely on techno, industrial, EBM and electro. He has since released some major tracks which have received support from some of the biggest in the game. In addition, 2019 saw the formation of his label, Crisis of Man, which also aims to further this sound. Today we present this high octane, four alarm mix which is a relentless take on techno and beyond. In addition, we present a Q&A with the man himself where we discuss his project, the next label release and more.

Trippy sounds and fast groove are at the heart of Maemm's musical aesthetic. Raw, deep and hypnotic, sometimes more old school: the techno in which Maemm finds herself navigates between different textures and always keeps a very energetic rhythm.


In July 2021, she co-founded the collective La Taquinerie, whose ambition is to decompartmentalize and explore the possible experiences of electronic music by multiplying the collaborations and the formats.

@medulla_oblongata is a discreet yet emerging Dj who blossoms in his musical biotope between ambient and a mental/hypnotic techno. His techno sets are an invitation to an immersive journey where dancers can forget themselves. Lately, we could see him working with the Château Perché Festival and their secret and uncompromising side projects alongside mixing at renowned club KALT (in Strasbourg, Fr) where he can express himself without any boundaries. 

He is also co-founded the collective called TRÊVE, gathering artists from different horizons around ambient and visual arts in order to propose dreamlike and contemplative events. His ambient sets become hybridized with tape samples, droning machine loops and synthesizers.
