The third chapter in the vinyl instalments on Gaze ill’s Danish Cue Line Records is written by Belgian artist Zygos, Georgio Roumans. An unforgettable piece formed by 3 distinct original tracks plus an outstanding remix by Italy’s most wanted, DPRTNDRP (D-Operation Drop).
The EP opens with the toxic symphony of ‘Laicism’. By chest-pressuring hits right from the beginning, we’re pushed into another world where everything is moving though it feels like time stands still for a moment. Mellow melodies formed in layers of feedback-alike sounds and endless reverberated stabs generate a persistent tension held tight by the static, marching drums. The title track ‘Sudd’ forms part 2 of the journey through Georgio Roumans’ explorative universe. To think everything can move this fast yet keeping a minimal expression is beyond reality. From 8th to 16th to 24th notes - variations through the bass, percussion, and melody sections - a discreetly conducted progression is reached throughout the track. Accompanied by weird background soundscapes the sub bass takes the lead on the tight Halfstep-package of ‘Tapered’. The drums are simple and hard, which is just what’s needed to tame and control the strong movements from the sub. Super minimal for the sound system. Italian DPRTNDRP brings new life to ‘Sudd’, which awakens in a completely different light than the tempo-filled original. Strange sounds and rhythms, raw and dirty. DPRTNDRP makes the remix a must hear.
The vibe is intense from start to end, and the EP hits perfection due to Georgio’s naturally alive style, and the clever remix from the ever boundary-pushing DPRTNDRP. Signature sound, deluxe on 180g. heavyweight vinyl!

Tumbling down the rabbit hole in my life I happened to step in a land with no time and located nowhere, where 'I' melts with 'It', and all separation dissolves into immediate experience of oneness. The adventure was so great and so humbling for the little human who I usually am that I had to bring something back to honor what I witnessed. So I started working on it. I drew, I wrote music, and I also wrote words. And our world seems to be comprehensible thanks to these words, but what I learned is that this is just a spell, cast upon our minds by grammar and definitions. Never again I shall be misled by the false sense of comfort of linguistic habits! I couldn't express my self without transcending such barriers! So I started learning new languages, verbal languages like French and Spanish, but this was also applicable to music and visual arts. And with work and practice I began developing my own language, so to make justice to the depths and richness of my own experience.
The following write up is a story set in that same spaceless and timeless place, a travel through dreamy realities and lucid dreams. I don't think it falls under any literary genre, I like to just call it "a composition of words", but basically you have to read it like a poetry without much metrics. 
I translated it in 4 languages, but don't be misled. What you'll find in it is not the language you know, but my original take on it in order to talk about that something which can't be named:

How deep in the rabbit hole have we gotten? 
How is it possible that the main cause of global warming is the crazy huge number of methane-farting cows and pigs that we farm in horrible conditions to feed the fancies of our capitalized societies? The collective unconscious seems to have gone into a phase of psychosis, where no one knows what to do anymore. We humans, with our system, have triggered and are living now in the 6th planetary mass extinction. Global warming is affecting the water cycles, leading to increasingly more powerful natural disasters. Islands of trash are growing frighteningly in the middle of the oceans. The increasing population of the planet is a ticking bomb. Political tensions and terrorism episodes keep harshening. Our view of nature as a piece of dead matter that’s there for being exploited by us has led us to a rupture point. What are we living for? Are you a musician? Do you really want to enter the music industry? Does it make sense to start a business? Do you have a job? Do you feel satisfied with it? Would you still do it if you didn’t have to make money in order to survive? Do you feel satisfied and good with yourself? What are your ambitions? 

We are deep in this rabbit hole.

And deep things get interesting. There is hope.
If you, like me, come out of an environment that idolized clubs and drugs while growing up, constantly deviated by image management through social media, you are not going to be feeling great. Each and everyone of us can start, very modestly and incrementally, to sort out his/her own life from the basics. Eat well, sleep well, exercise, and do all this while being aware of your body, of your breath, and of your heartbeat. Tackle each one of them at the time, and slowly but surely you’ll feel better. I assure you this. No external condition is going to heal your state of mind, only self work will. This is the simple solution for inner peace and health. 
You'll have more energy, and more energy allows you to see more clearly so that meaning will focus in your new eyes out of the previous fog. Meaning unlocks the forces of passion, curiosity and love, and allows us to engage in a new kind of collaboration that works. Up to now collaboration only ever worked thanks to hierarchies, fuelled by fear. Now we have a new option: network. Networked collaboration is fuelled by love, passion, and curiosity, that you’ll be able to fully feel after having encountered meaning. 

I imagine a future where we become a network of independent nodes, a distributed-power society built on affinity groups networks. I want to reach it by learning everything about self sustenance, growing food, making energy, engineering stuff, machines, transports, telecommunications, computer science, etc. I want to spend time with other individuals with the same passion for knowledge and learn all these things together. I want us to embody this new horizontal way of collaboration at its fullest potential and when we will welcome our children to planet earth our story will be like “we have no certainties, we have no final answers, we’re all just learning and constantly discovering new ways to live with love and better take care of us and our planet”
Can we drop the current system and create a new one? I believe so. How? By reaching inner peace and meaning through self work, and then contacting the healthy others and joining them in a learning and caring effort.
