Recently appearing on the celebrated Only Silk 04 anthology, Phil Martyn returns to treat us listeners to an excellent two-track EP. "So Long" delivers a tour de force of progressive house. Head-bobbing, dance-inspiring moments pervade the entire track and are made all the more memorable by a gliding, distorted bass line that gives the track a truly unique sound. "Give It Up" delights listeners with a quintessential deep house sound. Soulful vocal samples and resounding, funky bass riffs give way to melodic mallet synths that impart a rich atmosphere to the low rhythmic groove.

Another awe inspiring EP that is comprised up of some of the most talented names and it isn't difficult to hear or see why that is. We hope that something in this varied and colorful EP caught you in daze due to its mesmerizing selection like it did for us.

Beloved label veteran Talamanca, the acclaimed trance & progressive composer, presents "Arrivals & Departures," his highly anticipated debut artist album. A prolific and celebrated artist, whose oeuvre begins at the onset of the 2010s, Talamanca is known for a melodic, Balearic-flavored sound, which captures both the natural wonder and nightlife-induced euphoria of the White Isle. His sun-kissed anthems, which have appeared on "Group Therapy," "Electric For Life," and "Global Warm Up," amongst other top-tier international radio shows, never fail to render his fans' hearts aglow.

As the title would suggest, Talamanca's album evokes the incomparable enchantment of a never-before-experienced travel destination, especially one as naturally beautiful and therapeutic to the soul as Ibiza. Sometimes when you get demos you just know this is going to be something rare and special and when getting one from the guys behind the aliases of Lumidelic & Lesh is one of them. Both of them have been long time servers on the progressive scene and when they now teamed up and collaborated, we already knew it was going to be one of those. 

“Life Frequency” as this one is named is one hell of a tasty ride, slightly deeper in textures than we normally see from them both as individuals. It’s packed with great groovy basslines, cool melody driven arpeggios and that energetic power that we so often fall for. It’s pure class from start to finish and we absolutely love it. 

On remix duty, Greece bound Fiben makes his way back to our ever growing family at PHW. As a firm producer being with us countless times, he once more delivers his full plethora of sounds. With a well rounded interpretation, added on synth melodies and keeping things with a deeper signature, he once again delivers something that we surely are to push the repeat button for. 

Last but not least we welcome back a producer that has been on and off his music career from time to time and we are delighted to see him team up with us again as Gary McDonald finally is back on music. With an edge, keeping things to his trademark energetic and yet deep mood he strikes with a  lethal progressive journey that surely is to be etching to many of us.
