Francesco realized this exclusive remix of the legendary Blondie's 70s success.

Heart of Glass" is a song by American new wave band Blondie, written by singer Deborah Harry and guitarist Chris Stein. Featured on the band's third studio album, Parallel Lines (1978), it was released as the album's third single in January 1979 and topped the charts in several countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom.

Parallel Lines (UK No. 1, US No. 6, Australia No. 2) Blondie's third album, released in September 1978 was produced by Mike Chapman, delivered the biggest seller of their career, and broke into the American market, too, on the strength of the single “Heart of Glass" becoming the group's most successful effort, selling 20 million copies worldwide.

The production of "Heart of Glass" was discussed in detail by Richard Allinson and Steve Levine on the BBC Radio 2 radio program The Record Producers that was aired on May 25, 2009. As explained in the program, the production of "Heart of Glass" was built around the use of a Roland CR-78 drum machine. The CR-78 was first introduced in 1978, the same year that Parallel Lines was recorded, and the use of this device on "Heart of Glass" was, according to the program, among the earliest uses of this device in popular music. As the program explained, it was also very unusual to use a drum machine in the context of a rock band.

In December 2004 Rolling Stone ranked the song number 255 on its list of the 500 greatest songs of all time. It was ranked at number 259 when the list was updated in April 2010.

Currently, "Heart of Glass" is ranked #56 in the UK's official list of biggest selling singles of all-time with sales of 1.28 million copies. It was also voted number 19 on The Nation's Favourite No 1 Single program, broadcast in July 2012 on the British television channel ITV.

FluorEnzo aka Enzo Gomes is an audio engineer, music producer, video editor and professional Dj that started his musical journey on early age of 14 learning drums, on 1986 is when start doing djing in clubs around Sao Paulo, Brazil, for 2 years. After travelling for 10 years, back in Brazil on June 2nd, 1998 Dj FluorEnzo, kickstarted psytrance parties in Rio de Janeiro and was responsible to bring for the first time to Brazil the Israeli legends Infected Mushroom, Sub6, X-Noise, Pixel, Domestic and many others, and also played in many events, festivals and clubs around Brazil such as “Ipanema Stereo Beach 2006” (first official electronic music event in Rio’s N.Y.E on the Beach) playing for a crowd of 300.000 people. Producing House music for a decade now under the name of Enzo Gomes and based in London since 2008 have been touring back around Brazil few times playing in clubs and festivals around Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais and finally at Melted, a prestigious party in Cuiaba, Mato Grosso, this set is available for free download on his Soundcloud page. FluorEnzo’s and Enzo Gomes’ music can be found on web stores like iTunes, Beatport, and others, and finally there is also vide-clips on the pages, some are tributes with free download. Enjoy
