Sonny Moore has always been an important figure in my life. His music has been one of several catalysts of the SHBASS project. I remember hearing the Scary Monsters Nice Sprites EP for the first time. It completely changed my world, but before finding a passion for electronic music I had a love for hard-core, metal and other similar genres. Bands like Bring Me The Horizon, Scary Kids Scaring Kids,  Whitechapel, Suicide Silence or Lamb of God are some of my favorites from that time period. 

Many of you know this, but for those that don't, Sonny was originally in a post-hardcore band called From First To Last before writing music as Skrillex. I've always felt like part of my connection to the electronic music scene has been through these heavier genres, so naturally Sonny Moore comes to mind whenever I think about my place in the community. 

Rumble and my remix of it is not a particularly heavy piece, but it has been a blast to put my own flavor on a Skrillex tune. Although I personally enjoy his older work much more than any of his most recent songs, he continues to inspire me today. This remix is proof of that. 

This one will be free to download for anyone who wants to play it outside of the streaming service(rinse it at the club and tell me how it went!)
