The question you pose in writing this EP is an interesting one. I think that some, like myself, might embrace the rules and the automation of music, and see them as instruments. There are rigid rules and there are soft rules inherent in digital art, especially music. What happens at the edge of a rule? How can an algorithm be manipulated and enslaved? I like to make algorithms my bitch. Others, like, perhaps, yourself are uninterested in rules. This is a beautiful and free flowing soundscape. I find myself enshrouded by new and interesting locations. There is little to predict, and much to learn. A piercing critique on modern art, it happens to also be at the forefront of modernity itself.
