By way of NYC, Berlin and before that Moscow, vinyl only techno DJ, producer and record label owner Mary Yuzovskaya has been cultivating her unique orbit in the electronic dance music firmament for over 14 years.

Having graced the decks of all Moscow’s hotspots back in the mid-2000s, Mary moved to Berlin, where she became recognised for both her blisteringly-precise vinyl-only techno sets and her painstakingly professional approach to the craft of DJing. After relocating to NYC in 2013 Mary quickly became a key figure in the US scene, performing regularly at different venues including multiple residencies at some of the city’s institutional parties like Unter, where she was a staple for three years, as well as working as a vinyl distribution manager at renowned Brooklyn-based record shop Halcyon. 

Back in Berlin since 2020, Mary solely runs her very own record label called Monday Off ( @monday-off ), launched in 2017, where she curates and presses work from artists that explore techno's trippier, more hypnotic side. Maintaining the connection with North America, she currently holds a residency at Public Records club in Brooklyn.

Mary has been busily traveling the world and performing her unique take on techno music’s deeper vibes at many noted clubs and parties across the world, including ://about blank, Basement, Compound (LA), Distillery (Leipzig), OHM, Output (Brooklyn), Propaganda (Moscow), and Tresor, to name only a few.

Salvo Pizzuto is a DJ producer born in the Italian peninsula, who has always had a passion for deeper electronic music, clubbing and listening to his favorite DJs over time have shaped his tastes to the point that it is. currently. Salvo started DJing around 2017 at various underground parties in his hometown and is one of the very few DJs in Sicily to promote deep / experimental techno. His inspirations come from the wonderful nature that surrounds him and from mysticism. Its sound is based on dark and ambient percursions and modulations.
Salvo is constantly growing, always looking for new hypnotic and atmospheric sounds that can lead the listener on a mental journey by recreating soundscapes.

As part of their sonic exploration, they also run the label “Feinkost Records” aiming to give an outlet to like-minded artists with a serious proposal in music making.

Alexskyspirit delivers a mix built on deep/dark bits together with newer tracks as well as exclusive, unreleased material. The result is ...moody AF, oscillating between a well-known dark-building-block (LN or Berlin-like), as much it kicks you into the midst of a white, powdery snowy mountainscape under starry Nightskies. It's the contrast, the thumping-red-thread (sometimes almost gloomy) that reveals Alexskyspirit's peculiarity. The journey embarks us in memories of both sweaty crowds, strobes and hypnotic states, somewhere between reality and dreams. Respites are given to calm the mind before kicks & basslines bring you right back in line. Cinematographic, ravey, a sense of mystery mixed are all in favor of a cathartic trip. Another sequel of our podcast series is curated by Ness of The Gods Planet, an Italian artist who recently launched the label called Ness Reworks. Debut of this newborn project was done by our favorite duo a_000 and we definitely look forward to see more from there.

Ephemeral Distance was started in 2020 as an alternative way of approaching others and understanding oneself. Techno music is seen as a means of communication, a way to travel into space-time, and a starting point for an evolution process.
