This couldn’t be clearer in the case of Marco V and his son Thomas Newson. A family relation that seems to be a rare and well-kept industry secret. At a young age Thomas decided to follow the lead of his father, giving him big shoes to fill. Amsterdam based prodigy Laura van Dam bridges the gap between melodic techno and progressive trance with her new melodic gem ‘Get Lost’ via Epic247 Recordings.

Amsterdam based melodic dj/producer Laura van Dam returns from her summer tour with a melodramatic melodic techno gem, called "Get Lost" made for the darker winter days ahead. 'Get Lost' is the frontrunner release of Laura her long anticipated first artist EP, Capture vol I, set to drop at the end of the year via Epic247.

After her recent releases on Anjunabeats, Armada and Zero Three, Laura returns home for her latest melodic masterpiece. With ‘Get Lost’ Laura bridges the gap between melodic techno and progressive trance. Being a standout track during the Laura van Dam 2024 summer tour sets , ‘Get Lost’ has found a special place in Laura her recent performances, being the openings track in her sets at Mysteryland and the Breakfast club in Colombia. 

To testify Laura her growth, Laura has build her own monthly YouTube mix series “Capture Radio” to a current total of over 600.000 collective YouTube viewers. The show evolves to a weekly FM radio show from October 25th, 2024 to air on SLAM! Radio in The Netherlands. 

Laura is actively touring; she has just got back from her 3 hours extended set at the closing event at Ushuaia Ibiza, with upcoming shows at Het Sierraad (Amsterdam Dance Event), Dreamfields Mexico (Underground stage), Dreamstate SoCal (California, USA) and Tante Mia Tanzt (2025, Germany). Laura previously performed at Ultra Miami (Worldwide Stage), Tomorrowland (Anjunabeats Stage), Mysteryland, Printworks London (Support for Above & Beyond) and Brooklyn Mirage (NYC, USA) to name a few.
