A version of Launch Base Act 1 from Sonic & Knuckles Collection played using instruments from my Korg 01/w. I initially wrote it all in a combi and then recorded the instruments seperately to get the effects, I then saturated the master and put a tape effect on it because it gave me tape vibes.

Prism Palace Act 2 [2020]

I need to make this very clear. I was actually incredibly nervous working on this one. I'm not trying to be hard on myself, but I want to admit to myself that I don't think my rendition of death egg will ever match Joy's version that she did for Sonic & Knuckles Alternate. There is a reason why she is my favorite composer atm and her take on Death Egg is my favorite piece of work that she has ever put out. I know it's not a good thing to compare yourself to others, but in this case, it was really hard not to be intimidated.

I wanted to just give you pure final level energy, the intensity is cranked up to 1000% and the emotion that you feel throughout the song is depressiong yet hopeful. The idea was so big that I had some serious help from 4sythe! Without their help, I wouldn't have been able to get nearly as far on this project as I did! They helped me clean up the song and showed me a few tricks to make it sound even better! Thank you!
