Illuminate

It's autumn (or fall) in the northern hemisphere, and though I typically don't care for the dreary cold seasons, fall is starting to grow on me as I get older. 

I made this song with the idea of walking down the sidewalk on a breezy day while all the orange leaves are blowing off the trees. The bouncy rhythm and melancholy chord progression really capture the spirit of the season for me for whatever reason.

当時セガサターンがなくて、友人の家で遊ばせてもらっていましたが曲がかっこよくてこのステージだけ鮮明に覚えていました。
サンダーフォースシリーズと同じ人が作曲していますが、素敵な曲です。
どうやらこの曲のみ山西さんだとか

[Story]
	Infra Knight takes the final hit he can withstand, and his blade is launched out of the window of the control room. “Whew,” King Dedede says. “What a pain in the you-know-what!” Kirby turns towards Poe, who looks worried. “He’s not supposed to be here… Somethings wrong… Infra Knight would never leave his post!” Bandana Dee whispers to Kirby, “I still haven’t seen Meta Knight on the ship. I think we’ll have to leave and search closer to Dreamland…” Kirby sadly nods, and turns away to the exit…

	Infra Knight rises quietly in the background, slowly unsheathing a hidden blade from beneath his mask. He dashes towards the unawake Kirby.
	CRASH!!! Something breaks through the windshield of the control room! The sound of two blades colliding fills the room!

	Kirby turns around… Just in the nick of time! It’s Meta Knight, blocking the dangerous blade of Infra Knight from slashing Kirby! Meta Knight knocks the blade out of Infra Knight’s hands, and with one fatal cut, splits the mask off of the fiend’s face! Red eyes glare, stunned at the stalwart knight of Dreamland before him. He slams a smoke bomb onto the ground, disappearing in the mist.

	Meta Knight breathes a sigh of relief. “Hello, everyone.” “Meta Knight!” everyone says in unison, approaching and greeting their long lost friend. “Oh how I’ve missed you, ya serious little guy, you!” says Dedede to the hero of the day. Kirby grabs Meta Knight's hands and shakes them, thanking him for saving his life. “So this is your side’s defender!” says Poe. “So… COOL!” Kirby laughs and dances around his friends, reunited at last.

	The clouds shake, and the sky gets a familiar shade of darkness. “No time for celebration. Let’s get back to business.” Meta Knight turns to the control panel and boots up the systems. “We have to get back to Dreamland. They’re intent on taking over our home.” The engines of the Halberd whir to life. The hull lifts off of the surface of the clouds, as another pitch-black hand engulfs the Skyglade.

Approaching the now flame-engulfed home of Dreamland, the Halberd approaches in the sky, when suddenly a beam of light blasts from the ground and collides with the Halberd’s wings. “We’re going down!” yells Bandana Dee. They all brace for impact, crash landing on the scorched earth of Dreamland.

Stepping out of the wreck, Kirby and co. know what they must do. To the center of Dreamland! Time to take back their home!
