We're very proud to announce the release of S.O.N.S' complete 7-hour vinyl set, which was recorded at 宀 for the February 2024 edition of VG+.

S.O.N.S, real name Tim, is pushing the vinyl format throught his adventurous DJ sets and his record store Junction in Seoul, South Korea. Having settled in the city more than 10 years ago, he has been part of the local electronic music community development and is currently resident DJ of the reknowned Ring club, at the heart of the Itaewon District.With several well received records under different aliases (Dj Jacuzziy, SYO...) and collaborations (Forest Witches, Giorgio Celeste & The Cobra) mostly self released on his own labels, he divides his time between making music in the studio, caring for the customers in the store, and digging compulsively for new yet unearthed music.

Dive deep into the journey Sookie (@sookiesarah) carefully curated for our third trip together. Nothing compares to the atmosphere she created in the humid belly of Eliane - La Péniche that night. She steered the boat down a slowflowing stream with tribal rhythms and ethereal synths to rapid waters filled with the deepest basslines.

@riet_cs closed off our boat party in style, taking the crowd on a transcending journey beyond space and time. With a perfect balance of driving energy, uplifting atmospheres, and introspective reflection, RIET beautifully ended the night on an emotional high.

"Being very honest, not every release has a charming story about being an exotic find or hearing it somewhere on a special occasion. Most of the time, the whole reissue process starts late at night on the Discogs explore page, with a difficult-to-explain feeling in the gut... There’s always a mixture of different feelings that come with sliding into someone’s life and asking about a record they made 30-something years ago."
