C'est ainsi que naît le Minotaure ; Minos commande à Dédale, architecte du roi, la création d'un labyrinthe pour y enfermer cette aberration de la nature.
Dédale donna la solution pour sortir du labyrinthe à Ariane : utiliser un fil de laine déroulé,qu'il suffit de suivre jusqu'à la sortie. Cette dernière remit la laine à Thésée, qui s'en servit pour sortir du labyrinthe après avoir tué le Minotaure.."
