Alan’s description for this song:
The real fear and uncertain outcome Was the fear of the family, knowing that she had cancer And only a miracle could unite the love within. The struggle continued ,and expected arrangements would have to be made the reality of life was hurting and painful. Then the moment came when a meeting was held to announce the news that she was free, she was free. The miracle had blessed the family and in the face of Having to say goodbye for the last time, she was here to stay.

After I heard Alan’s composition I was in love with his piece, and after he shared the meaning behind this song, I asked him if I was allowed to re-arrange and re-produce his beauty.
I told him about my own experience with my daughter, she conquered and fully cured from Leukaemia, so I know this triumphal feeling from deep inside, but also the struggle she had to endure, and how powerless I felt as a parent not being able to do more for her.

I tried to put in my own experience onto this piece of music in sections as you will.
The flute in this song is the child, the piano the parents, the drums the fight, the strings the cure (the love from the parents, family and friends standing side by side for this child), the French Horn Sections the medicines and news brought by the specialists. 

The 1st  part, is the news that we got from the specialist how sick she was, the drowning sound within is the cancer (which at the end of the song will be conquered completely fade out), the weak piano are the powerless parents not knowing what to do or to expect yet (it’s like their world crumbles)

The 2nd  part “The flute” is the cry for help of your child, the choirs are the angels standing beside her with the soft strings are trying to comfort the child.

The 3rd  part “The Piano” are the parents grabbing all their power to be there for their child, and the flutes already start to feel the strength to fight, with the strings building up the power for the cure to set in.

The 4th  part the intermezzo, does the treatment work, and what news will the doctors bring?, the drums are fighting hard and the strings trying to ease the pain

The 5th  part, the child feels the strength coming back, and she becomes stronger each day, and because of that hope grows stronger each day also for the parents (piano comes in too)

The 6th  part (at 3:00) the crescendo, she won the battle, she conquered the cancer, the big triumph is felt everywhere, and pain and suffer makes place rejoice and happiness.

The 7th final part the cancer is defeated, and has to make place for peace and happiness for all.

This is just my experience, and how I felt while I was working on this beauty, and I am so happy that Alan and his family loved my version of Alan’s song immediately, and he asked me to share it with everybody in the world asap, as he said: this song is finished now.
So thanks Alan, for trusting me working on your beautiful composition, and I am honoured that you sincerely feel that this is what your song should sound like.

Both Alan and me are hoping that everybody in the world will feel the comfort within this song, that’s the reason why we want to share this triumph of this “Brave Angel” with you all.

What is Epikore?
Epikore is a music production organisation that concentrates mostly on producing epic music for theatrical trailers, television commercials and video game advertising campaigns. We are a group of independent composers from different countries. We work individually on music but we also work together on tracks to ensure optimal quality in what we make.
Our  goal is to create the right piece of music for your project!
 
Epikore releases both industry and commercial releases. We decided to do commercial releases because we also want to take epic music to the crowd, to fans of the genre and to those that have not yet discovered epic music.
 
As for licensing, our strongest assets are our flexibility and low pricing. Epikore offers a portfolio of tracks that you can choose from. We are able to deliver a longer, shorter or adapted version of the music from our portfolio, so that it will perfectly fit your needs. We only commit to write music on demand for large projects such as movie trailers.
 
While our main focus is on composing, we also do occasional tutorials on composing and demo's of sample libraries, which we love to use in our compositions. Our videos can be found on our Youtube channels.
