Raystorm - Geometric City in Deflemask [YM2151+PCM]

This is my version of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata Movement 3 in Deflemask using the YM2151+PCM arcade soundchip. I covered this for a mini-game I'm making called Torasu, which is an homage to Gyruss.
I had a lot of fun working on this, especially with the drums.

Super XYX has a new engine! There is a beta of it on Steam. There's even a new 7th unlockable character :D

This also means I can fix things I didn't like about the soundtrack such as this song. The intro was so long that once it finally kicked in, the boss would then appear D:

But now it's timed with the stage, has a few tiny additions/parts, and instruments were cleaned up so they don't sound as trebly/harsh wher you can hear more of the note rather than KSSSHHHH (not sure if anyone can actually tell).

Chris Christoudoulou is also very well known for his musical work on the game Risk of Rain.

*I broke some rules making this track.* The Genesis hardware can only do Six YM2612 and Four PSG voices at the same time. Since the original song has lots of sound effects, I had to compensate as well as substitute. It's hard covering a genius's work.

So I realized that the Boss song from Sega Master System's game Black Belt has a similarity to Ken's Street Fighter 2 stage song. Hence, this crossover tune was born. Also, this is my first composition in Deflemask as well as my first YM2151+PCM track.

I did this just for fun and within a couple hours. Replaced the drums, guitar, and bass, but left as many samples out as I can. Vocal tracks were isolated from the original song and overlaid onto this.
