We see this a lot: We will go through a whole process to make a video, and when we get to the end, there's no strategy for how to get it in front of people... or worse, no concrete idea of what the intended result of watching the video should be. Is YouTube a distribution strategy? Should you leave your viewers wanting more? These are questions worth answering.

Length, pace, and tempo seem like words that mean roughly the same thing, but they have huge implications on how well your video or story will hold your audience's attention. This week, we start with the question of "How long should your video be?", find a bunch of non-answers, and then quickly proceed to explore techniques and qualities that make for effective storytelling.
