In today’s ideologically polarized climate, science and religion can seem like fields of study at odds in the academy, the church, and the world. In reality, the disciplines have much more in common, and are more complementary than they appear.

In this special forum, the Rt. Rev. W. Nicholas Knisely, bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island and former professor of physics and astronomy at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, talks about his own journey as a person of faith and a person of science, and invites us to explore ways in which all of us can work to bring the sciences and our respective ministries into greater harmony.
