A new meditation DJ mix inspired by my encounters with wonderful, beautiful souls through my travels.

Anahata, in Sanskrit means "unhurt, unstruck and unbeaten" - Ever since my first meditation DJ mix recorded in Zihuatanejo, MX, I have been wanting to come back to creating another hour journey with a collection of sounds that channel that meditative spirit. In conversations with people entering the new year, I was inspired to go back to these explorations and release something on my own as we prepare to enter this new phase of regrowth from a rather chaotic and heavy last year. Whether the meditation is through breathing, silence, or simply being with your thoughts, I hope this recording  helps the process.

This is the fourth release in the E P I S O D E S mix series made by the one and only Fabian Tanz.

If i could redo the soundtrack to the movie The Beach, this would be it! It is the perfect mix of something deep and dark, something easy and bright and something beautiful and evil. A perfect balance between yin and yang. It affects me in so many different ways I don't even know where to begin. It makes me wanna cry, travel the world and explore cities i never visited. Tell my 95 year old grandmother I love her and that everything is going to be ok. It makes me longing for sweaty dance floors and connecting with new people. This is the impact Fabian Tanz has! His selection and mixes makes you travel within. A silly and trippy savant within his trade. I feel blessed to know him and to be part of what he does. Thank you Fabian!

About

Bio: Lente creates a groovy and playful sound, moving the audience into a flowy trip. He began in the electronic scene in Oslo where he started to make his own parties and productions. He is known for long and deep sets played in clubs such as Sisyphos, Kater Blau and many others. In Oslo he is known for crazy day parties and sets, allowing his listeners to get lost in between. Currently he is working with his studio buddy Dennis Jernelius on 2 upcoming singles for Edelgran Records.

Sonic Safari embarks on a magic carpet ride for its 8th release with "Aladdin Tales", a stunning collaboration between BiGz & Soire.

The duo conjure an Arabian-inspired organic house odyssey, weaving percussive grooves with hypnotic melodies and glistening desert atmospheres. Ancient flutes, resonant hand drums, and subtle oud-like strings drift through the mix, evoking the feeling of wandering through bustling souks and starlit dunes.

On remix duties, the enigmatic Kanaa Knight returns to Sonic Safari with a spellbinding reinterpretation. He not only reshapes the original into a mystical gem, but also adds Arabian vocal lines, as if guiding listeners into the depths of Aladdin's cave.

"Aladdin Tales" is a sonic adventure through time and sand, a must-have for lovers of ethno, organic, and deep melodic house.
