Excellent! First discovered Tim via Transitions 74 and now going back though all his previous mixes to catch up on everything I missed :)

After a short hiatus, E P I S O D E S is back to kick off the new year with a series of mixes from amazing individuals. 

We start 2023 by inviting my friend Tim Andresen from Copenhagen, Denmark. I first met Tim when I did a party in Copenhagen where I booked him to play before Todd Terje several years ago. I knew he was behind the club Culture Box which has been running since 2005 and was well aware of his productions and releases on different labels such as What Happens and Savoir Faire Musique, but  had never heard him play live. There is a difference between djs and djs... let's just make that clear. The art of being able to run a dance floor, keep it interesting for the crowd, never let it die and do it with such simplicity is nothing short of an art form. Tim does it and it never looks hard. He loves what he does and it shows when he plays. Since then Tim and I have played at each other's clubs and he has guested E P I S O D E S twice in the past year alone. It's an absolute honor to know you, it's an honor and such a luxury to hear you play as often as I get to and it's an honor to start this mix series in 2023 with a mix from you. This mix is simply beautiful. Full of deep grooves in the most perfect tempo that takes you across dreamy soundscapes. A multifaceted journey through time and space. Just close your eyes and listen.
