"The second half of this album was, again, written during quarantine. Unlike the first, though, I not only had more time to spend contemplating, but more time to devote to the album as well. The songs here I spent more time building, I think, stronger and more intricate melodies and structures.

The album itself is again one which, now as a whole, I want to exist solely on its own without context. So much of what is going on undoubtedly influences your work, but I don't believe one needs to necessarily share their contexts; and perhaps, sometimes, they should go unknown altogether."

"The tracks compiled here are very much a product of their time and place. I’d never visited such a foreign and often unforgiving place emotionally and psychologically before and I wanted the listener to be able to visit that same place but from a safe distance. It’s probably the most autobiographical of the recent albums and I attribute that to how we confront crises of existence, pain, and, in the end, how we redeem our lives despite these exhausting factors."

We're thrilled to announce the first part of Charles Taciturn's forthcoming project, Nebulae Nursery. xenonyms' most prolific producer returns with an ambitious double album full of captivating tunes.

A few worlds from Charles:

"This album was probably the most fun for me to work on. I tried to escape some of the bleaker themes of my previous songs and concentrate, rather heavily, on this concept of a "dreamworld" I kept reverting back to in my day-to-day life. A dreamworld is almost always, by nature, a form of escapism. But I think I needed just that in this era, and time to be more introspective as opposed to constantly worrying about an imposing force in the "outside" world. These songs are meant to provide comfort and warmth in what may seem like dark times--ultimately, a way to escape."

Premiering "Running Parallel" by Sistema Aero, , the collaborative effort between Charles Taciturn and xenonyms label boss GFXIII. Out on 18th February as a two-tracker single via xenonyms

The lead track sets off the genre bending mood of the release by incorporating distorted cumbia and jungle breaks inside a dreamy, buoyant atmosphere. In contrast 'Tierra Maldita' reveals itself as a sinister four-to-the-floor mutation full of hypnotic synths and eerie vocal sections.
