Der Kampf

Der Nieselregen fällt, die Scheiben sind ganz nass, 
am Esstisch sitzt ein Junge, der hat so wenig Spaß. 
Die Spielfigur in der Hand sitzt er da sehr verkrampft, 
in ihm tobt ein schwerer Kampf.

"Die andern in der Klasse sind stark, aber die lachen mich aus,
weil ich gerne 'Kicker' spiel. Da mach ich mir was draus. 
Sie sagen, ich bin schlecht, kann kaum was erreichen. 
ich muss es endlich lernen, aber ich will mich nicht vergleichen."

Mutter nimmt seine Hände, hält sie fest wegen seiner Klage,
schaut in die Augen ihres Jungen und spricht eindringlich auf ihn ein.
"Mein Kind, pass auf, was ich dir jetzt sage:
Du darfst dich nicht nach andern richten, sonst bist Du irgendwann ganz allein."

"Denn diese andern, sie verlangen von Dir Dinge, die du nicht willst,
das verbiegt dich so lange, bis du gar nichts mehr von Deinem Herzen fühlst.

Da schaut der Junge sie fragend an, aber er versteht. 
Manches kommt im Leben vor, manches davon vergeht.
Am Schlimmsten ist das Leiden, wenn man allein muss sein für sich. 
Sind alle gegen Dich, dann wird es schwierig. 

Sind auch alle anderen klug und recht, gescheit und geschickt, 
ihr Leben führen würden wir nicht. 
Was wir auch haben, wir sind zurecht was wir sind. 
Das sieht er bald ein, was für ein gutes Kind. 

Da lässt er die schweren Gedanken sein, freut sich wieder an seinem Leben. 
Das ist doch ein Glück, in diesem Dasein finden wir zu uns zurück.
Was wir auch haben, was wir auch sind, 
es geht uns bald allen wie diesem Kind. 

Denken wir auch, dass wir das schon verstehen, 
die Winde werden auch in unserem Schicksal wehen. 
Was auch immer für uns sicher gewesen ist, irgendwann ist es vorbei. 
Erlangen wir uns selbst, dann wirken wir erst frei.
