Jordana LeSense is an American musician and producer from Pittsburgh In the 90s, she established herself as one of the early pioneers of U.S. Drum and Bass, releasing a few albums for the New York-based Jungle Sky label as well as a plethora of singles and remixes. Her introduction to electronic dance music came in 1988 when she began listening to BBC broadcasts featuring reports on the rise of acid house music. It wasn't until the early '90s that dance music crept into Pittsburgh, and Jordana began frequenting many of the city's first rave-like parties and soon began making dance music of her own.
Her first signed work was an atmospheric Drum 'n' Bass remix of Blondie's "Atomic" in 1995 for EMI/Chrysalis. Liquid Sky Music began releasing her music in 1996, beginning with the compilation track "Dis Soun'" featured on This Is Jungle Sky, Vol. 2. The New York label also released a few 1.8.7. albums in the subsequent years, beginning with When Worlds Collide (1997) and continuing through Quality Rolls (1998) and The Cities Collection (2000). As both a producer and DJ she has toured the world and played alongside many of the top DJs in the world of Dance and more specifically Jungle/Drum’n’Bass music. She has also worked with artists such as Mike Joyce (formerly of The Smiths), Debbie Harry and Blondie, Lady Sovereign, MC Kinky from London/ffrr, Yellownote and TC Izlam from Liquid Sky Records as well as other Drum 'n' Bass artists.

Disconnecting The Dots w/ Etch - May 2023

Based in Manchester, Pod Imiya plays a mix of jungle and drum n bass styles from all eras, dropping in hardcore, IDM and sped-up electro. Pod Imiya’s sets are usually centred around rough breaks with dark but uplifting selection.Starting out as a regular DJ at Hit & Run, she quickly went on to play at nights across the UK such as Rupture, License to Jungle and Chicken Shop. Since learning to produce, Pod Imiya's tracks have been centered around intricate breaks, ominous bass sounds and ethereal leads, inspired by the production of Spirit, Quartz and Necrotype. Her track 'Dawn' was included on the Repertoire Streetlight Vol 2 featured by UKF and played by Mantra on the Rupture Rinse FM show.

EQ50 48 - POD IMIYA

Tailor Jae has established herself as a technical firehouse behind the decks, genreless at heart but heavy on the bass. She is one of London's most exciting DJ's
Born in East London to Ghanaian parents. Tailor grew up with 4 other siblings, in a small area in Canning Town. She never grew up with ambitions of being in the music industry but after receiving an ipod as a present for her birthday and access to limewire , all that would change. Finding tracks and showing them off to friends at house parties would soon turn into secretly teaching herself how to DJ on a £50 controller. Although having siblings who dabbled in MCing, Tailor never thought the lingering of pirate radio shows - her brother would play in the room they all shared, would somehow come back to be a part of her future story.

EQ50 49 - TAILOR JAE

ZO by name and Promo by nature, Promo ZO instinctively champions the freshest underground Drum and Bass.
With past broadcasts on Ministry of Sound Radio presenting alongside the likes of DJ Zinc and regular guest mixes on Kane FM. Speed to the present day and Promo ZO can be found broadcasting live every Wednesday on Bassdrive or standing in for Uncle Dugs on Rinse FM, plus regularly playing the London club and festival circuit.

2022 saw the release of her first official solo track signing  ‘Jungle Ting’ on the Moondance Together album which charted on Beatport at number one, twice! And 2023 see’s further Promo ZO productions coming on In-Reach Records including ‘Sandi’ which has already gained support from Abbie McCarthy on BBC Introducing in Kent.

To add to an already impressive resume ZO has recently been awarded a Warner Music Scholarship in association with TheWRD from The Ivors Academy and is working on more solo and Konnect (UK) beats plus a very special ‘All Crews’ project due to be revealed in Easter 2024.

EQ50 50 - PROMO ZO

Claude Knight is a queer, multi-genre DJ whose sets bring bass, attitude and energy. She's a resident DJ for Joyride at Corsica Studios, features monthly on Voices Radio and is a member of Drum and Babes – an emerging community-focused DJ collective.

This mix melds some of Claude’s favourite Electro and Acid-infused tracks with darker, techy Drum and Bass and Jungle before ending with a spacious release. Buckle up and come along for the ride!

EQ50 51 - CLAUDE KNIGHT

'Northern raised, London based’, Cicely is a music photographer, international DJ and founder of break-out rave platform and events brand NRGCru. Her sets are known for hard-hitting breaks, old school hardcore sounds and rave bangers. Past appearances include the likes of Keep Hush, Fabric, Project 6, Corsica Studios, XOYO & Rinse FM. She is proud to be northern, and aims to reflect that in everything she does.
