Let's meet our dj for episode 478 with 3 questions, here is Abstract Drumz:

1. Tell us how you came up with name, Abstract Drumz.
Originally I called myself DJ Abstract but I found out there was another Drum & Bass artist that used the same name in the late ‘90s. So I added the word “Drumz” from one of my favourite tunes, Doc Scott “Here Come The Drumz”

2. Tell us about upcoming releases and djing gigs.
. I’ve retired from playing DJ gigs (I’m an old git lol) but I’ve got lots of releases planned for next year, I can’t give anything away yet though!

3. In 250 characters or less, tell us a funny joke.
My music “career” 🤣🤣🤣 Adrian is a funny dude, check out his facebook posts, that's why I asked him for a joke.  I will tell you, he's a great producer, his music career is no joke!

Smokey is a DJ, Music Producer & Teacher based out of Mumbai. Her spirit of dedication towards the music has led her to get a great appreciation for her sets from her fellow artists such as Moresounds (FR), Om Unit (UK), Kutmah (UK), Amit (UK), Spikey Tee (UK), Sinistarr (US), Indika (UK), MC Fava (DE), PLO (Outlook), Diplo, Wiz Khalifa, What So Not, DJ 4B, Tynan, Nucleya, Divine, Ritviz, Midival Punditz, Monica Dogra, Karan Kanchan and many more she’s shared the stage with across various clubs and festivals in her journey so far. She has been featured on BBC Asian Network, Rolling Stone India, Vh1 India, Vh1 Supersonic, Indian Music Diaries, Boxout FM, Wild City India, Delhi Times & M-Tv Indies. Due to a storm closing the club the first night, I didn't get to play a full set, so I wanted to record the hour when I got back.
