Pull up a chair and grab yourself a stoney peroni for this feast of feasts, the inaugural Segreti Di Famiglia from Boots & Legs. A seven-course meal with dishes from B&L mainstays, as well as some new guests making especially saucy debuts. 

First up, Romain FX returns to the cobbler’s kitchen with ‘Neon Train’, plating up some weapons-grade machine grooves, garnished with hypnotic vocals - guaranteed to whet your appetite. GREETINGS follows up this electrifying entree the introduction of the enigmatic ‘Flavio Zoom’, a cosmic search through robust and considered flavours. Newcomer Sam In Space makes a splash with mid-meal workout ‘Aerobic’, charismatic dark disco with an athletic flair. Things take a turn for the sampladelic with the strange and playful mutant funk of ‘Pre Club’ by Club Sausages, before an all-time classic gets an imaginative Italo rework with ‘The Rhythm’ by Black Feeling. Kayroy teams up with Imogen Cygler for a palette cleansing contemplative chugger ‘Eggna’, with dreamy arpeggios building to a dreamy crescendo, before Pleasure Voyage present final course ‘Return’, a fitting sunset synth-pop soundtrack that’s the bittersweet like the perfect negroni.

People haven't even had a chance to realise that 2021 will be just as weird for the first 6 months and Frankfurt transplant Stefan Haag better known as Chinaski and professional youngster Philipp Lauer already crossed their beams to shed some light into corona-tristesse. City Galerie is a tribute to a mall in the north bavarian town of Aschaffenburg, where Lauer bought his first LPs . Straight up brutalo futuristic architecture. The second release on Alan Dixon’s Love Attack label comes from the man himself, delivering a dreamy new EP entitled 'Night Time Melodies’.

Following high-profile releases on Gerd Janson's Running Back and Jennifer Cardini's Correspondant, Alan moves to his deeper side kicking things off with ’Night Time Melodies’ - an infectious piano house workout that sees super-slick keys dance elegantly around a chuggy, bumping bassline and beautifully resonant synth licks. Once again demonstrating his unfaltering ability to craft alluring, feel-good dance music Alan offers up a slice of sun-drenched optimism.

The track also receives a groove-tinged remix from Kiko Navarro moving things into the main room. Punchy snares and shuffling hats set a footwork-provoking rhythm underneath energetic, stabbing piano chords, with Navarro gradually working in a delectable wobbling acid line ramping up the energy for a sense-tingling, euphoric re-work.

The release is backed up by 'Tell Me When’, a modern-sounding club track to be heard in places such as Berlin's Panorama Bar. Pillared by an irresistible bassline, Alan lays down a dusty kick-hat pattern, punctured by ecstatic claps and engulfed in a plethora of scintillating synths.
