Sunny greetings from the beautiful city of Buenos Aires in Argentina. From this place we welcome a new artist to our roster: Chumbita. Juan caught our attention from the very first listen, so it was this kind of easy signing' while listening the demo again and again. "Peculiar Changes" comes as powerful, bass focused track – and still having this mystic atmosphere we love so much in our aquarium. Putting his fingers on the Original, label head Marc DePulse gave this track his fingerprint. A typical MDP interpretation, a contrast with a different melody but still explosive for every kind of mood. Happy debut release, Mr. Chumbita!

Due for release in November, Echoes of Memoria is the eagerly anticipated debut long player from Ameli Paul. A strikingly artistic project that sits somewhere in between electronica, alternative synthpop, breakbeat and even operatic excursions, the Berlin-based outfit has created a truly personal and contemporary work of art that breaks away from normative convention. 

The album was created over the past five years, with each track on the album representing a period in Ameli Paul's turbulent life. With an early Voice message [2016-08-21] (one of the tracks from the album), Ameli inspired Paul into making music together and a love romance between two people was born. 

The melting pot of a trained singer and awarded jazz musician with a successful electronic music producer, the common experiences, impressions, smells, emotions and encounters processed by both Ameli and Paul over the past seven years have shaped their unique musical signature. Overall Echoes of Memoria is a musical diary about transitions, inner turmoil and ultimately their break-up, which all reverberate together to build this monument, honoring and cherishing the countless precious moments they’ve shared. 

Playing live in renowned clubs and festivals, Ameli Paul are increasingly known for casting a spell on their audience. It’s this unique, multifaceted sound that is effortlessly melting genre boundaries and listeners’ hearts around the world. To accompany the album release in November, Ameli Paul will be supporting iconic German producer and internationally celebrated live act Monolink on his huge European winter tour. Taking on over a dozen shows across Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic in just five weeks, the tour kicks off at Progresja, Warsaw on November 9 and concludes at Zoom, Frankfurt on December 10. PREMIERE: Ameli Paul - Encore (Ruede Hagelstein Remix) [MEIOSIS]

Part 5 of the various artists series is at it again with 5 tracks by 5 different producers and a mixture of feel good party time music and contemplative music. You will hear familiar Running Back names like Storken (this time together with JStaaf) refining their comic tropes (or imagine Foreigner doing house music) next to newcomers like Archie Ward. His Pizza Girl puts musical toppings on a pounding underbelly that wouldn’t be out of place in any warehouse, while Moritz and Amount dial it back a bit. Their respective tracks are gleaming with a special kind of elegant end-of-night euphoria that is hard to come by – and all the nicer if it happens. Remember: trance is a state of mind! Last but not least, Australia’s Jonus Eric delivers an IDM-leaning piece of outsider dance. Hot soup, hot swallow!

Yubik has been working tirelessly in his Munich studio, masterminding the creation of four fresh and innovative productions. Inspiring music with a laser sharp focus set on delivering where it matters in a clubbing environment.

Hypnotic title track 'Delusions Are Inexhaustible' is a captivating melodic journey full of emotion and rich synth lines. At times dark and driving, yet still underpinned with a serious groove, this is an essential DJ tool for creating special peak moments.

'Cosmic Renaissance' takes the EP deeper into Yubik's world as he captures your mind through beautiful shimmering chords, before unleashing a series of shuddering sonic waves for the sound system to beam across the dance-floor.

'Monaco Di Baviera' is one of those special uplifting club tracks filled with energy and momentum. The poignant rising arp lines are in keeping with Yubik's skill for creating a compelling theme that works its way inside your mind.
