Irrespective of their place on the running order, Tom Szabo & Brayden Warburton of Melbourne-based duo fütwerk continue to demonstrate a remarkable ability to impress. 

Known for impeccable track selection and an uncanny ability to connect to a crowd the duo have earned the attention and respect of the electronic music community, solidifying themselves as a pioneering force in Melbourne’s deep techno movement. 

The last three years has seen some noteworthy career highlights. These include support sets for musical inspirations Deepbass, Matrixmann and Etapp Kyle, whilst also performing at Burning Seed, Rainbow Serpent and Wildwood. 

Long-term lovers of electronic music, their voyage into production has drawn heavy sonic influence from their natural surroundings, as well as those more reminiscent of the cosmos and all its wonders.

It's always wonderful to come across talented and humble artists from across the world, so for the 94th mix in the Arkiv we happily present you Melbourne's Budgey.

Continents away from the alleged core of the more niche electronics, the man has been pushing hypnotic electronics on the other side of the earth for some years now. Moreover, as a core member of the Equinox collective, Daniel has made efforts to strengthen the position of the sound we cherish so much by means of realising various events and a delightful mix series. 

The hour-long recording brings a tight selection of tracks that stimulates the senses from start to end. Enjoy.

Clément Teixeira - a.k.a. CLTX - is a Parisian rising star within the techno scene, formulating productions that are highly influenced by the warehouse parties that shaped the Paris scene in the 2010’s. Experiencing music through multiple raves and club nights led him towards the creation of his CLTX techno project as well running his own TX & Autonome Records imprints.

His body of work as a producer displays a clear influence from his love for heavy metal music, which he exhibits through his high-octane sets that have been witnessed around the globe. In signature CLTX fashion, his contribution to EQUINOX Invites is full of the powerful kicks, rave-y vibes and raw structures he is known for.

For the first ‘EQUINOX Invites’ edition of 2022, we have been joined by none other than the menace-driven, soul-manoeuvring, brain-disassembling All Trades. Born in Blackburn but now based in Liverpool, the Interlock co-founder and resident of both Melodic Distraction and Altered Voltage has brought nothing but fury and muscle into the UK rave soundscape. 

With recent balmy releases on Shubzin, Warehouse Raves and his personal Interlock imprint, he has continued to demonstrate his programming ability - transcending all corners of the interdimensional realm that is electronic breakbeat. 

Expect everything from shelling, fast-paced electro, manic jungle breaks, and rinsing dubstep that will excite all lovers of the hardcore avenues of dance music.

Hailing from Pyatigorsk in the south of Russia, b0n is a bright representative of the underground culture within the region. Helping to pave the way in the ever-diverse Russian underground music scene, he has managed to delve into many genres throughout his musical journey. 

Releasing on Berlin’s ‘Enchanted Rhythms’, Italy’s ‘Smoud traxx’ and the UK’s ‘Beeyou Records’ and ‘Dimsum records’ as a part of the t3x3 creative collaboration (with David Guriev), b0n has brought forward a uniquely refined sound. Combining steppy UK garage rhythms, steezing electro acid, and minimal breakbeat, b0n has performed to acclaim from the basements of Moscow and London to the shores of Romania and Tulum. 

As our eighteenth invitee to our growing ‘EQUINOX Invites’ series, b0n brings forth a mix full of skippy 2-step garage, slices of jazz, rasta jungle and minimal roller inspiration.

Hailing from the inner western suburbs of Naarm (Melbourne), Connor Wall is a rapidly rising producer and DJ - specialising in techno that focuses on rolling, rhythmic grooves both fast & slow.

With numerous personal releases on the near horizon, 2021 saw him release the well-received 'Fragmented Memories' EP on Bomphcast, which garnered the support of many including those overseas. Both podcast and booking requests continue to fly in as the city becomes more and more familiar with his talents.

Connor has continued to impress and invigorate since Naarm returned to the clubbing environment, and we're so excited to showcase his energetic & enthralling brand of techno for the latest edition of EQUINOX Invites.

A founding figure of Equinox and :affinity, Melbourne’s @sanctum-aus moves into any space with the desire to create an atmosphere.

Exporting a fluid blend of techno, acid, breakbeat, dub and electro – SANCTUM links together genres with an ear for groove and a playful attitude. Grounded in fast and deep rhythmics, his driving sound brings energy and funk to centre stage.

From a young age SANCTUM has seen visual textures and colour in sound, which he uses to create abstract artwork that visually describes his music. This led him to develop his own audio-visual mix series titled 'SANCTIFY' as well as artwork for Equinox and :affinity's events.

SANCTUM’s approach has garnered a memorable list of appearances supporting industry heavyweights such as FJAAK, SPFDJ, Matrixxman, AIROD and Regal in addition to Melbourne’s most prominent venues and festivals.
