"Antz People Compilation" is our second vvaa album edited at 7MNS Music and as its predecessor "Origen" [Ref.&MN001], pretends to show new musical proposals that run away from the conventional side of electronic music. In this album we would like to paid respect to all those musicians and artists that with their small-huge contribution make possible to maintain an experimental zone within the independent music scene.
 
Available as Digital Format and Free Downloading, it contains a total number of 26 tracks in two separate volumes.

Aldebaran

NEW JOOKLO AGE: Magneticus (LAL-67)
Incredible autumnal recordings from the mighty Jooklos. Here the duo of Virginia Genta and David Vanzan play curved soprano saxophone, bike horn, electric organ and reel-ro-reel machine through modified tape echo. Although the musicianship is superb as always, the echo unit (borrowed from Sumsilobatem Studio) is the key element here. It gives the music very special surreal cut and paste sound with distortions that can only happen on magnetic tape. The result is seriously magical and unique. For one thing this tape is quite easy to compare though - it's vibes are close to the more experimental 60's Sun Ra recordings. C40 comes inside silk screened covers, in edition of 70.

My trip to California got me in touch with Jim Goodall, who I already knew as one of the Lal Lal Lal's best customers. I got to know that this amazing gentleman was not only a passionate surfer, but had been playing drums and electronics in Whitehouse, The Platters and Flying Burrito Bros among endless list of other groups. He handed me some tapes on his label, including his solo tapes and Debt of Nature's "San Salvador Day". I didn't know what to expect, and that tape blew my mind. It was the most enchanting piece of music I had heard for a while. I was extremely happy when they agreed on my suggestion to release a new tape on Lal Lal Lal. Later I realized that Debt of Nature was one of the groups in the awesome L.A.F.M.S. collective. It started as Brad Laner's (Electric Company, Savage Republic, Steaming Coils, Fourwaycross etc. Brad and Jim were also founding members of Medicine!) solo project, but soon expanded into a larger noise orchestra. (Harbinger released a great LP of some archival recordings from the 80's a couple of years ago.) Salt Meadows presents new recordings by the power duo Laner/Goodall. Compared to the 80's recordings, the material is more mellow although as free and full of surprises. It's incredibly beautiful, surreal, organic and psychedelic sound collage. C30 comes inside silk screened covers, in edition of 70.
